Will hated being the spectator. He felt guilty. He wanted to put a stop to all of this mess, but it seemed as though nothing could be done to prevent the maniac, Rose, from killing Amber. She had a mission, just like Lyra did, and there was nothing that would stop her. All he wanted to do was... his thoughts were cut short by an idea. He knew it was risky, but he didn't really know if this Rose was even a potential ally, or even Amber. But so far, Will trusted Amber more than he did Rose. Was Amber a friend, an ally? Was his life worth risking for hers?

He decided that cutting through the universes wasn't a great idea after all.

Amber stopped dead.
"Shush!" she said urgently.
She could hear something above her, on the chimney.
"Rose.." she whispered. Without warning, she jumped up, whipping the knife from its sheath on her belt.

Amaris shook her head, "Come with me Hailey and Will, you're not safe here, Amber must do what she can." She started jogging away from Amber and hoped the other two would follow.

Ishion and Anamelia debated how should they do. After arguing and counter-arguing, they decided to go with Will, Lyra, and the others. Anamelia, who was against going with Amber, concluded as they prepared, "Part of being an assassin is the risk that you will be hunted. You know that as well as I do." Ishion shook his head vaguely, though he completely understood Anamelia's point.

Amaris, Will, Hailey, Ishon and Amamelia found Lyra sitting on one of the rooves looking very bored. "Where've you lot been? I've been siting out here for ages and it en't exactly warm." Lyra said to them as they sat down. "Where's Amber?" She asked, looking from person to person.

Amber spat and swore. She was alone. "Stuff them." she whispered, sprinting thru the school, and leaping out into the cold air.

Robyn came and perched in front of her "You killed your partner Amber, you killed my twin. We'll never stop hunting you." then he catapulted into the air and flew away swiftly.

Will saw Amber not too far ahead running with a dagger in her hand. He yelled out to her, "Are you alright?" He saw Rose run stealthily after her, using the shadows to conceal her. Will sprinted forward toward Rose.

"STOP!" he yelled. "MUST YOU KILL HER? I won't let you kill her until you have proven to all of us what evil Amber has done!" He drew his knife, and pointed it at Rose. He glanced at Amber, who stood there looking quite shocked.

He turned to Rose again. "Now tell us, Rose," his voice lowered to a sinister whisper, "what crime has our friend over there done to deserve death?" He glared at Rose expectantly.
