Think a kind of gold background, with darker gold, or green text would look good. A type of Lothlorien feel.

I would prefer blue, because its the colour of summer  ...blue sky, blue sea...

I Think a really light green and white would be nice. But I also agree with Beri, if it's for the fall, red, orange or sepia would be pretty.

Well since fall is coming up I'd say maybe a nice mix of pinks and oranges would look pretty  and sumthing that's been really bugging me is that summer's almost over and the spring layout is still up for sum reason  so if you were going to make a last minute summer layout I'm thinking a nice light green with a tinge of blue would look nice

First choice: Blue (light). 
Second choice: Sepia.
