Lady Erana Éowyn wrote: Yes, this is the story of Orpheus and Euridike, one of the saddest stories I know! Orpheus is a very important character in the Mythology, he has a long history, but I can't remember all of it. He loved to play on the lyra, and he plays that good that everything and everyone wanted to be as near to him as possible, even the trees. Once he met Euridike, they married, and they were really happy. But on one day Orpheus went to town and Euridike went to pick flowers, when a snake it her. When Orpheus came back, he found her dead body. He was so sad that he went to Hades and begged that he would give him back his wife. Hades is sorry for him and tells him that in one condition he can have her back: Orpheus should walk out of the Hades, and behind comes Euridike, and whatever happenes, Orpheus is not allowed to turn around and look back. But he did and so he lost Euridike for ever. The story of Orpheus continues until his death, but I cannot remember it that well at the moment...
I think what happens afterwards is they attach his head to a lyra and he becomes a prophet.
Medusa does have a very sad story, but they always protray her as a villian when it's not really her fault, which I don't like. It'd be nice to see her shown differently.

Well, actualy he was murdered, or at least I've read this somewhere... but don't ask my why and who the murderer was!
Well, I do not know much about the story of Medusa, somehow I always get her mixed up with Medea... Medea was the wife of Iason...

Yes, I think he'got murdered, buI don't remeber by who, thats what happens afterwards.
I don't know much about Medusa either, cept she was caugt doing it in sime godess' temple, so she turned Medusa and her sister into Gorogns, then Perseus (at least that's who I think it is) got her with his shiny sheild, then used its head to kill a sea monster. But thats all I remeber.

Being capable of greek-language it´s a must to join this club!
As far as I know the earth or the heavens are uplifted by Atlas who is the son of the Titan Lapedos and the Oceanid Klymene. Atlas took part in the war against the Olympians and when the Titans were defeated he was forced by Zeus to carry the "world" on his shoulders. I like this part about Greek Mythology very much. There also are the gods who have created the world.(or themselve represent it) Such as Nyx (night) and Gaia (earth).
