Lee, an young girl of 14, opened her eyes, which burned from the rumble which was under her, behind her, surrounding her, and utop of her. SHe coughed, seeing her best friend, Mark, in the rumbled beside her. she tired to move to see if her was still alive, but she leg was broken and she could feel her sprained wrist as the blood trickled form her forehead...then, she thought of Conrad, her brother. Her heart raced as she looked around, but she couldn't see anything.

Conrad shook his head and felt for Kuzco, his german shepford. He felt his fur and then the warmness of Kuzco's tounge against his burning face. He grabbed onto the handle and tried standing, but he was weak from the crash. Crash, he thought, Lee! "Kuzco, where is Lee?" Kuzco pulled lightly to the left, sniffing the ground for Lee's scent. Conrad was starting to get worried.

Winter's eyes opened slowly as she slowly regained conciousness. Winter heard screams and people moving around her, but nothing registered. She moved her head to one side, then the other. She was surrounded by rubble and dust. She heard a cough and realized it was her own. "What happened?" she murmured weakly.

(Oops sorry )

Maria heard a voice to the left of her.
"Winter?" she asked nervously. "That you?"
There was someone moving in the rubble beside her, she guessed it was her friend.

Lee leard Keira's small whisper..."Keira?" She managed, but only just... she moved her left wrist, which was fine and pushed some rumble from in front of her. "Keira?" She called again. Then, she heard Conrad's dog, Kuzco, bark, which seemed to be right on top of her. "Kuzco..." She whisered and with as much force as she could, managed to cry, "Conrad! We are beneath you! Get help!!!" she hoped he heard her because her world was slowly getting darker.

Conrad was lead to an large pile of rumble, which the bus was closes to. Kuzco leaned his head down and sniffed then let out an wild bark. Condrad then heard an faint and wild cry of 'help.' Conrad then said, "Hold on!" He then yelled, "Someone please help me! Please!"

"Lee!" cried Maria, turned her head, but instantly regretting it as sharp wire cut deep into her cheek.
She cried out as blood spat from the small wound.
"Ouch!" she moaned. "Stupid rocks."

Winter struggled to get up, but found her legs and right arm were pinned underneath rubble. She recongnized Maria, Lee, and Conrad's voices among the cries and screams. She continued to struggle. A sharp pain ran up her arm.
