Liz felt excited: finally some action. Suprised she looked at her mistress who seemed to be able to handle a gun perfectly.
"Are we ready to sail out..?" she asked Keira impatiently

(Wait what kind of guns are we using? Are we using muskets because those take a while to reload? We need to have a time period here.)
The admiral went to the throne room and bowed before the king. Madyski began, "Your highness, the ships are ready for departure. If we leave now, we will be able to intercept them before they leave the bay."
King Erik nodded and said, "Then let us go. Have your men fall back and allow the cannons to disable to the ship. They won't get away from us this time. My son, Prince Erik II, will take command while I am gone. He is both intelligent and able so I have nothing to fear here."
The admiral bowed once more and soon got to the beach where his soldiers attempted to take the ship was failing. "Fall back, men. Have the cannons up and aim for the masts!" he ordered over the roar of gunfire.

Timezone: What do you think then?)

(Techincally the king could have a son that is not related to Lily. Lily could have been his second wife. Plus kings can be as young as twelve to take command so during that time there wasn't anything unusual of an adolescent taking control.)

Madyski watched as the cannons were being loaded and prepared. It is such a shame that a fine vessel like that pirate's ship was under the command of pirates. He cast those emotions aside as he cried, "Fire!!!" One giant boom, followed by another could be heard as the cannon launched their deadly projectiles.

"Canon fire!"Liz yelled as she grabbed Lily pulling her back, seeking cover. The canon just missed and a large amount of sea water washed onto the deck. "Keira! We must sail out now! Those canons will blow holes in this ship if we can't get away quickly!"

"Thank you." Lily said to Liz gratefully. She looked around for Pierre and saw he was safe.

Madyski ordered the Darkcoats to open fire on the pirates while the cannons was being reloaded. This time, he ordered them to aim for the hull of the ship. The muskets of the Darkcoats erupted as leaden bullets soared towards the ship, slaying a few of them. "Cannon ready!!" someone cried, prompting Madyski to order, "Darkcoats, stand back. Cannon, fire!!" Another giant boom followed by more could be heard.

Liz left Lily and wanted to run over to Keira, to offer help. Yet on her way to the upper deck she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. Liz stumbled and knew she must be hit by a bullet. She tried to continue running but fell again. Liz heard the sound of another volley of canon fire and remained lying motionless on the deck.

Lily clambered up to the upper deck some minutes after Liz and found her, spread out on the wooden floor, not moving.
"Liz!" Lily cried, bending down to see how her friend was. Her shoulder was bleeding and slowly she woke and looked at Lily.
"Are you ok." Lily asked, worried.

"I- I don't know.." Liz said with a trembling voice. Images swirled in front of her eyes. She saw how her dress colored red but still she tried to stand up. "We need to help Kei- Keira" Her voice sounded as if it came from far.

"No, lay down. I'll try and get someone to help you, you're bleeding badly." Lily said and looked around for someone who could help.
