Well if it was a choice between Jack and Will the latter would have to go. Personally I can't see any of the main heroes dying so it's either going to be Davey Jone's or Barbossa or both. Hopefully just Jones, or perhaps Barbossa has only been brought back to life for a short time?

okay someone had mention hat tia and davey had the same lockets that might of looked like each other. I didnt caught that part, but i did find a screen cap of it but its not good so you cant see the picture. I only found Tia's they didnt have a cap of Davey's



I actaully did see pirates for a 3rd time today and i did happen to notice that it zoomed in on Tia's and Davey's lockets for a few seconds

I think Potc 3 will have alot of flashbacks or at least start with one. like how barbosa came back. or something along those lines.

Kinda also wonderin how Keith richards (jack's dad) going to be incorprated into the film

I think Stellan Skarsgard did a great job at Bootstrap. Out of all people they choose Stellan gosh Stellan is amazing!

I know Bill Nighy played davey jones but does anyone know how he did. like was he just the over voice or was he actaully just wearing a mask with cgi points on his face?? because if you take a look davey does kinda look like Bill :shrug: been trying to figure that out

by any chance does anyone know where potc 2 was filmed.? was it the same place that potc 1 was filmed? whcih is i cant remeber

Yes, I must say I agree with that... I liked the interactions with his father, and I think it would be nice to see more of them. However, I'm not sure how much its realistic to hope that all is sorted out that way. If Bootstrap died, I think that would be okay as well, because his life at the moment is pretty - horrible...

Given I read somewhere that Johnny Depp would be happy doing more Pirates films, I don't think he'd die for ever never to return, but then again, who knows how reliable such articles are...

I really hope there are no more Pirates movies, they'll end up all mediocre and boring like Star Wars. Three is good enough for me. Well, maybe a fourth. Maybe.
Who knows? If they can bring Jack back from death, surely they can restore Bootstrap Bill?
And in answer to an earlier question, no, Bill Nighy was only the voice. They did such an incredible job on the CGI Davey Jones that people think it was him, but is wasn't. He was very good though.

Bill Nighy was Davy Jones. They put him in a suit so they could get all of his movements down so they could create him into a cg character. Kind of like they did with Gollum in LOTR.

yeah with the whole CGI thing with his beard and his one hand. The crew had a lot of prosthetics, which was not bad becuase it did look real.

Yeah...the Bootstrap Bill stuff was okay. personally, I liked the feel of the first movie, and how he just drowned...and he was actually DEAD. That's it - you die, you're dead. In the new movies it seems like death is just an event, something you can come back from. Is there any way to plain old, go away forever DIE?

Apparantly not in the world of Disney. That's why I like Barbossa pretty much dead. I like that he's back though. Then Tia Dalma brings him back. Well that didn't seem impossible, but it could happen if you believe in things like that. Nothing dies forever.

Yeah, I would have preferred the 1st movie stayed alone and those who died...well...DIED. But since all kinds of rules were being broken in DMC, I was happy they brought Barbossa back. If they're going to mess stuff up, they could at least mess it up in a way that brought back the best villian ever, true?
