The corner of Shane's mouth turned up in a smile. "I'm going all in," he said slyly, leaning back in his chair after pushing all of his chips into the center of the table. "Aw, come on kid! You don't wanna lose all that money!" one guy laughed. The others watched him, amused looks upon their faces. "What? Are you...scared?" The other men looked at each other and each called. Shane just laughed. They had no idea what they were getting into.

Suddenly, he heard the familiar sound of his sister's voice. He slunk down in the chair to avoid being seen. She would definitely not help his cause of being taken seriously by the other poker players.

Regan stared at him. when they were younger he had been her best friend, then when they turned 13, everything changed. Regan got really into their family's history and plain history at that. and Shane had, well... found other friends that made him believe Regan was a stupid geek. but both Regan and Shane had strong wills, nothing was going to stop either of them from thinking they were right about the other, Shane thought she was a geek, she thought Shane was a senseless idiot. it worked out.
"fine." was all she said. she sat down and gave Shane the death glare.

"I believe gentlemen, that I have won this round." he said coolly, placing his cards on the table. The men groaned and he took his chips. he'd won everything. Regan followed him as he went to cash in his chips.

"its NOT a fairy tale! its real! there's a island just north of the docks i was at this morning, and it's not on the map!!! it's the island Papa Bill told me about last year before he died! i just know it!" she half yelled. 'Papa Bill' was their Great-Grand father, William. the name seemed to pop up everywhere in their family tree. 'Papa Bill' is the one who told Regan everything about their family, all the way back to when the family lived in the Caribbean. about how they had been pirates and about well, everything. when he died of cancer the year before Regan had beem torn apart.
