"Well, then, what do you want? I doubt you've come here just to gloat on us for leaving a rent in the barrier." Saraclya said it in a matter-of-fact way. She cursed herself for not doing anything sooner.

OOC: I'm going on vacation! Be back on Sunday.

Dym unfolded her wings and drew herself to her full, imposing height. She took a step toward Saraclya.
"That," she chuckled grimly, "is for me to know and you to find out."
The unnerving gaze held Saraclya's for a moment, before Dym turned to the rest of the fairies, "Hear me now, lest you fall into a worse trap. Time has made me strong. I return with a heart for revenge."
With a last menacing smile and a crack as though of thunder, Dym vanished in a wisp of smoke.

Dym reappeared in a small clearing in the forest next to a black stone tower. The tower was unstable and crumbling in several places. Dym frowned uncertainly. It appeared that her old home had fallen into disarray in her absence.
She tenatively approached the door. It squealed its protest as Dym forced it open. The interior was dark and slightly damp.
Just the way I like it... she thought.
Closing the door carefully behind her, she noticed that most of her possessions were still in the tower. Some were in better shape then others, but it was more then she'd expected.
Climbing the stairs to the upper room, she found it still mostly intact as well. She laid down across the wooden bed in the corner, shaking dust from the moth-eaten blanket.
This was home...
