River walked out to the stall where Bud and Rogue were being kept.
" Hey babies!' He said to them to let them know he was there. He had both the buckets of feed for them but he still needed to add Rogue's supplement.
He bent over and added the tiny capsules of ShowShine and HoofLuster to her food , mixed it in and hung it inside her stall and the bucket hook.

He didn't have tio add anything to Bud's food but extra, so it was already there . River opened up Bud's stall and poured his in the bucket that he had left there the other day.
" There you Go babes"
River sat aloung side there stalls waiting paitiently for when they finnished....

Jack had just arrive. He yawed. He walked in to the barn. "Hey, Step." He said as he open the stall door.

" Finally you guys are slower than a dieing snail." River said as he opened their stalls and hooked up each one of them to a lead rope on the outside of the stall.
River went and got a pitch fork and a wheel barrow and started to heave hay and manure out of the stall.

"I'm timing us today," she said, taking her stopwatch out of her pocket, and put it around her neck. Hailey pressed the start button, and urged Majesty into a fast canter. Soon they came to the first jump. She slowed down, went to two-point, then gave a small nudge with her heel, and Majesty went up and over.

The next few jumps were the same...

Hailey soon finished the course, and looked at her stop-watch.
"5min. 34sec. And thats the best run we've had the whole time we've been here," Hailey said, patting the mares neck. Majesty shook her head, as if agreeing. "What to try again girl? Or do you want to go for a trail ride?" The mare gave a loud winney, and stomped her hoof twice. "I'll take that as a trail ride," Hailey luaphed.
She led Majesty back to the stable and dismounted. She took off the jumper vest she had on for protection, and also took off the jumper braces on the mare's front legs. Soon Hailey mounted again, and headed to the trail...

Mia walked in to the stable and saw Marie poke her black head over the door. Mia stroked her muzzle and Marie whinnied as if to say 'Good Morning' Mia mixed her food and got out her box of brushes and hoof picks. Once Marie has finished he breakfast Mia groomed her well and saddled her up for a cross country ride. Once she'd grabbed her had and put on her body protector Mia led Marie out and they set off, speeding up to a fast trot and disappearing from view of the stables.

RIver finished with mucking out the stalls and took Bud out t work on Roping.
River set up his dummy in the middle of a field and wamed-up Bud.
Bud anciously lopped around the Dummy and crow hoped a few times.
River got after him though and delayed starting the practice.
After a few laps of hard galloping River cirlced around the dummy and came up to it like a header.
He got into Bud's rythm and roped the horns of the fake bull.He gave the signal to bud to back up and make the rope taught before Bud started to buck around like crzy.

RIver let go of the rope and pulled out on the reins. Bud just went harder. SO River did the onky thing he knew to do : Spur and slide.

Hailey mounted and turned Majesty tward the riding trail. She saw a boy roping a make-shift bull, then have trouble with his horse. She watched a moment, quietly, then she headed back tward the riding trail...

River sat down deep in the saddle as Bud started to tire out, After all thats what the spur and slide was for, To make Bud tire himself out and buck more.
RIver loved to do things like this. He had done Bronc bustin before but never this long.
Soon Bud tired out and River hopped off and hooked the bull up to Buds horn and walked him bck to the bar. He saddled up Rogue in an English Pleasure saddle and headed out t the trail....

"Come on, Champion.." Ashleygh Logan whispered as she looked forward from the starting line. The mare snorted as she pawed at the ground, and Ashleygh heard the gun. The mare drove forward into a gallop, and Ashleygh got in her postition a bit more firmly. They approached the first jump, a brush gate, and Ashleygh loosened the reins a bit as the mare jumped over it. The landing was smooth, and they galloped onto the next jump quickly. After completing the half-mile track, the young mare was sweating. Ashleygh slowed her mare down to a slow walk and looked toward her trainer who was grinning. "twenty-eight six!" Ashleygh grinned and she patted her mare's neck. "Good job, Champ!" "She'll be ready for the race next week."

Jack start to saddle. "What do you want to do?" He ask the horse. Step repiled with a slow nicker. Jack reach for the briled. Slipping it over his ears. The horse putted his head up. after a few min. the horse gave him. Jack started to walk the horse out of the barn.

River kissed to Rogue and urged the green into a slow steady canter

Mia had found all the back lanes, all the best tracks with fallen trees and plenty of little streams. She was now sat next to one of these streams, letting Marie drink while she sat on the bank in the shade of the trees. Once Marie had finshed Mia cilimbed back up, took her hat off and they started off at a quick walk back to the stables.
