Yea ... I have a leather one ... most of my friends just use hockey tape as a replacement, but they fall off ... and they're uncomfortable. I'm going to buy an entire glove soon, instead

no no!! i mean fingerstring! that little string u put on ur fingers so u dont have to hold the bow when ur shooting. improves ur aim. and i use a fingertab, 2. its kinda hard 2 shoot when u've got a load of equipment, though, so sometimes i dont use the stabilizer.

Ohh I know what you mean... No I don't use a fingerstring. I find it actually throws off my aim.

yea i can see what you mean. i like them, but i have this habit of grabbing the bow the moment after i release the arrow, so the arrow sometimes doesnt even hit the target. and then every1 laffs @ me. and that's really annoying, so yeah.

Yep, I have a leather one as well. I actually like it. And yes, I think it's much better than hockey tape, personally.
Great news though!! I just got a new bow- and I love it!!

Sorry, for not keeping up. I had some problems with the forum, but I'm back.
I never took lessons, well, except for a couple of times where I tried shooting at an indoor track...field... thing, because I thought I might sign up for real lessons, but it turned out to be a group of middle-aged men living out their childhood dream of being Robin Hood twice a week.. *cough* or at least that's my personal interpretation...
Anyway.. what are you learing when you take lessons? Could any of you share some of the secrets, please.

thats oki!
well when we take lessons we usually learn to stabalize our bow on our own, aim properly and skillfully, shooting from farther distances, using different types of bows and arrows, etc...
