Nate slid down the mast and checked his sword, making sure it was ready to use. Not that he thought he'd actually need to use it, the reputation of pirates would be enough.

"First mate, take the wheel! I'll help with the cannons," she called to Jo.
Gwen ran to the stairs, and jumped over the rail to get were she was goin faster. She went below deck and started to help get the cannon's ready for fire...

Nate wasn't sure what to do either. He stood to the side of the ship, trying to stay out of the way. Finally he headed below deck, to see if he could help with the cannons.
