Inara quickly reacted and defended the blow, backing up slightly pointing her sabre at Bane.
"Because, this campaign is pointless."

He snarled and leaned in closer.
"This campaign is not pointless! What is now in motion cannot be stopped."
He smiled and jumped back swinging his saber at the jedi, each being deflected. He stepped back and grinned.
"Lets make this interesting ..."
He held his saber horizontaly and lit the other end of his saber and began twirling it around. He stopped and lept forward again.

Inara stared as the lightsabre became two joined in the middle. Regaining her focus she looked at Bane with a steely glare "Let's finish this" she said as she walked closer to him, twirling her own sabre and pulling it up in a defensive position.

Bane ran forward bringing one end of the sabre on her in a stabbing motion, the other end switfly rising with the flow of the attack as the stab was blocked. There were many blocks between sabres as Bane attacked again and again. Eventually he grew tired of the constant blocks and lept back. He held a clawed a hand out and fired out a bolt of lightning.

Inara saw the bolt coming straight for her and out of instinct, she lifted her lightsabre up and the force lightning violently got pulled into the shining blade. Her grip became loose on the sabre handle, forcing her to put both hands on it to steady it. The crackling blade began to move closer to her face.
Struggling to push the sabre bac, the intensity was written all over her face.
I will not give she told herself.

Bane grinned and walked toward her. The strength of the electricity grew as he gained on her.
"Give in Inara, you are nothin compared to me."

"I think you mistake me for someone else, Bane" Inara seethed "I am a Jedi Knight, a Master, member of the Jedi Council. My will is not as easily broken as you seem to think"

Bane stepped closer, he was only two meters away. His hand was so close to the sabre. He swung his own sabre forward, and slowly edged it toward her stomach.
"Time to end this..."

Inara ignored his words and closed her eyes. Concentrating on the force around her. She pushed it forward, expending a lot of energy.

Bane felt his sabre stop. He frowned, showing his teeth.
"So you've got some fight still in you..."

Inara began to smile "I have more than a little fight left in me. Your arrogance blinds you" pushing her sabre back, the lightning was dispelled back into Banes hand. Spinning her own sabre back up, she made a large sweeping strike at Banes arm.
The sabre came down and cut through his arm at the middle. The heat from the blade closed off the wound.

Inara looked down as the lower half of the limb fell to the floor.

Bane doubled back, cradling his arm. The light sabre turned off and he stumbled onto the floor, gasping at the sight.
"You... you..." He seemed to be in shock, he never expected to be hurt. He was weak from his prolonged attack. He sat on the floor and forgot about her, still looking at his arm.
"How...? I was ... " In his weak state his eyes rolled back and he fell unconcious.

Inara powered down her lightsabre. She looked down at Bane's unconcious body, and felt not anger but pity. A man corrupted by his own selfish desire for limitless power. She had to get him moved to a containment cell. There was no telling how long he could be unconcious for.
She walked past him, and into a nearby hallway. She spotted two guards running in the opposite direction. She put her hand out to halt them.
"I have the Sith Lord. But I need help in carrying him to a containment cell. I am weakened by our fight, so I cannot do it alone."

Without a word they followed her back to Bane and carried him up and to the cells.

Rhodrian landed, her troopes were doing well. She ran into the Chamber and saw Bane lying unconsiose on the floor, she smiled, now was her chance for revenge. She ignited her white saber and drew it above her head. "For Manyn" she whispered
