Zaira followed the girl with great surprise, she had actually trusted her enough to turn her back to Zaira....perhaps she could be trusted after all.....or perhaps the girl was an unexperienced fool....but Zaira knew she wasnt a fool....she had an experienced air to her....she caught up to her and walked quickly beside the girl....she said "thank you, not many would have trusted me like you...." Zaira paused "i wouldnt blame them though...i wouldnt trust myself either..." Zaira added with calmness

(I'm going to come in by one of the human cities, Finrae)
Elsewhere, a small girl stumbled across the rough terrain that lay just outside of the city of Finrae. She wasn't certain that she wanted to enter the city, but they needed supplies for another venture. She turned back to her companion, signaling by hand motions to ask if they should go in.
Her companion, a large golden dragon, nodded. "We go in," he said. He watched her lead the way toward the city. "Wait," he said, pausing. "I cannot go in, the city is much too small." The girl looked at him as if to remind him that she couldn't communicate by herself. "Just trade your money for the supplies, and use your hand motions if you need," Fondan responded. Kyerna nodded. She moved toward the city quietly, worrying as always about how this would go.

Near the gates of Vrindil, a cloaked being led his horse along to the path. Two guards crossed their pikes, blocking the path into the gate for the being. "We need your name and business," one of the guards demanded.
"Business?" the figure repeated. "My business is sercet, only known to the proper authorities." He withdrew three gold coins and held it out. For a moment the guards looked at each other and then took the money from the figure and allowed him in. The being walked in with his horse. After reaching a fountain in the city, he took off his hood, revealing a stern looking man with pointed ears, dark hair, and cold blue eyes.

Zaira looked at the girl....she had once been trusting too...once... "Zaira" she said, "and your name? i cannot simply call you young one, also you seem to resent it..." Zaira smiled, she watched the city approaching...what she would do there...she had no idea, but now she was seen and could not hide...

"I'm known as Aeryn." she replied simply. Seeing the town(Yes, town, it's not large enough to be a city, everyone..) coming into view, she sighed, thinking back to her earlier plan to escape from it all today. Now, it seemed, she was going to be stuck with that plan..

"Aeryn...do you know of decent lodging around the outskirts?" Zaira didnt want to be near the center when she finished her buisness...not that she was proud of her assigment...but finding work in these times wasnt easy and Zaira needed to eat.

"Yes..my father's inn, just over there." Aeryn said, pointing to a three story building near the western edge of the town. It was the largest building in sight, and was simply the largest building in town. "I'm sure there are quite a few rooms available, as well, so you can pretty much have your choice."

Zurx's hooded gray cloak concealed his conspicuous attire. Lounging near the fountain seemingly without a care in the world, the fire master's nimble fingers stroked the hilt of his weapon. It was a slender rapier, its hilt crafted adroitly into a blood-red dragon's head, with rubies for eyes. Zurx's own eyes, resembling the dragon's in their unnerving intensity, surreptitiously scanned the area. He caught sight of a dark-haired man with pointed ears nearby.
Zurx's thin lips curled in a mirthless grin.

"Thank you for the room, not many would allow my type in a place like this." Coron said as he began to leave the Inn. "Thank you for the information sir, and sadly i couldn't meet your daughter...Aeryn is it? She seems smart, She might know alot about this town." Coron's hidden face looked in the direction of the town. "She is headed that way? Oh and one last thing, you spoke of a man one of your customers saw, the man with those strange eyes, is he still in town" The man simply shrugged.

Zaira chuckled..."as long as its not a room with a window i am happy....anywhere seems hospitable at this moment..." Zaira shuddered at the thought....when she last stayed at an Inn, a very nice room with a window.....at least she thought it was a very nice room, untill she got attacked by a revenge-crazed dwarf that broke through the window.....besides, she wouldnt want anyone strange to spot her....not now. She looked up at the city...and the city gates...Zaira gave an unaudble groan......she hated gates, with the guards and the security and those nosy questions....sure some could be bribed, but she had nothing to bribe with...the only money she had she planned on using for lodging, she looked at Aeryn...lets just hope she can get me through...if not she would have to use some....persuation

Aeryn sighed almost boredly and approached the guards just outside the gate, and after exchaging a few inaudible words with them, the gates swung open and the two women were allowed to pass on into the city.

Mornie felt very relieved.....threatening always made a job much more complicated....about that job...she would have to go right after leaving her things at the Inn..."Thanks for that" she told Aeryn as they got near the Inn...."i am not very good with security....they dont trust me....again, i dont blame them"
