Hailey finished mucking out Sea's stall, and put the pregnant mare in her right stall. She filled the hay net, and the water bucket. Next, Hailey went out to the pasture, and retrived Majesty, "I know you were only out here for a little bit, but a storm is coming," she told the horse, leading her back to her stall...

Sparrow nodded. "I know what you mean," she said. "It took me forever to get my horse, Lin, to eat her supplements. SHe finally did it, but only after we put brown sugar in it. My other horse will eat anything you put in front of her." Sparrow chuckled, thinking of how Sap Run gulped down her food. "By the way, I'm Sparrow McGregor. And you are...?"

Ashleygh got Champ in her stall, and made sure she was fed, before turning back to Star.

"They're both gorgeous," Sparrow said. "I have the horses Lin and Sap Run." Sparrow jolted, as though someone had shaken her. "And I am supposed to be fetching them inside right now!" Sparrow looked sheepishly at the two leadropes in her hands.

Mia had got Marie in her stable and hung the maroon lead rope and head collar up next to the stable. She put her feed in, adding a little of the supplements that she was now so good at eating. Marie began to eat and the first drops of rain started to fall. Mia went outside, feeling the heavy drops on her face and hands. Thunder rumbled overhead; the sky a steely grey.

Jack watch the horse for a min. the horse rolled over on his back. "You act like a dog again,Step." He said with a laugh. The horse rolled back over and stood up. "Let's see your foot then." He told the horse picking it up.

Hailey got Majesty in the barn as soon as the rain started to fall. good timing, she thought. Hailey tied the lead rope just outside the stall, and gave the horse a small bucket of oats. While the horse snacked, Hailey got to work on cleaning the mare's stall...

River walked into Bud's stall and fetched him attaching two leadropes to his chin-ring on his halter.
He pulled him over to the wall of the stall,and climbed onto him. It had just started to rain and before he had moved him to Green Acers he had been in a feild with one lean to and five horses that tried to fit into that lean-to.
in other words Bud liked the rain.
He steared him out into the aisle and waited a minute to see if there was any lightning or thunder. None that he could hear.
River steared Bud outside and and held his hands up above him as Bud walked down the drive.
Bud tossed his head up in glee as they walked around and then moved into a smooth trot....

Sparrow sprinted outside as the rain began to fall. Luckily, Lin tolerated the rain and Sap Run loved it. It didn't take to long to get the mares inside. She rubbed them both down. "No time to take you out today, huh Sap?"

Mia heard a thumping coming from the old stable block. Willow was clearly aggitated by the rain and Mia slipped inside and spoke soothingly to the mare to clam her down. Soon she had calmed down enough for Mia to stroke her and Willow seemed to relax a bit more.
"Is that better girl?" She asked when the mare was calm and her breathing steady.

Jack help the horse back up. "You can lay out side the stall ok." He told the horse. He tied the horse up and started to muk out the stall. When he finsh he got the horse back in. Step put his leg up and held it there. "What you doing, you silly boy." He told the horse. The horse but his leg down and layed back down.

Sparrow left her horses in their stables and looked around for a chore. The isle had to be swept, then she could clean tack. Amazing how those had to be two of her favorite activities. Sparrow turned up her music and got the broom.

Once Willow was suitable settled Mia went to help Sparrow. Being stable manager meant that she helped as much as anyone, she didn't just give her chores or reponsibilites to other people.
