Yeah, good old motion capture. The guy who came out of the wall was good too.

The bit that freaked me out the most while watchign this movie is that fishy pirate dude stuck the the wall holdign the lantern. When he leant out his brain was stuck to the wall and all uuuuugh. It was all stuck and you could see it and I didnt need to see that.

It made me want to hold my brain, nooo not my smushy brain!!! I dont want stuck the the wall brain!

Is that the guy's name? I couldn't think of it for days! I totally forgot. He's the guy stuck to the wall on the Flying Dutchman, right?

What's this about a script for the next film? Is it really bad?

No, I meant the script. Personally though I think it must be fake because a) I doubt the producers would release it and b) if someone did actually put it on the internet when they weren't meant to, someone in the company will have found out and pulled it from the web.

I think it was like the first draft or something like that. There might be close similarities. It's not the whole script, and I'm sure the final is much better.

JF is referring to a leaked script of PotC 3, and while that's probably more suited for it's respective thread, I'll make a quick note here to put all involved at ease:
It's real. Nowhere near complete or final, but real. I have confirmation from Ted Elliott himself that it's a very rough draft that he and Terry turned in for scheduling and budgeting purposes only. In fact, here's exactly what he had to say about it:
Ted Elliott wrote:
Take the draft that is online with a huge grain of salt. Enormous, even. Remember in Ghostbusters, the size of the twinkie that represented the amount of psychic energy in Manhanttan? Bigger than that.

What's online resembles a draft that Terry and I put together solely for the purpose of budgeting and scheduling the movie. So about the only thing that might be accurate are the locations and characters ... and, even there ... yeah, don't count it.

In other words: Don't hate us until after you've seen the movie.

What?

I'm kidding.

Schee ... lighten up, people.

Oh, is this the wrong thread? Just I skimmed through some earlier pages and it was mentioned there. No matter.

I have a question for you guys. Did you hear any swearing in the film?

A bit, but not excessive. Mostly stuff like "b*gger" and "bloody."
Biggest one I heard was "D**n you, Jack Sparrow!"

Strange thing is I don't class them as swearing, or really swearing if you know what I mean. I'd say swearing is F, P, S and stuff like that. That's the reason I can't use my oh buggger banner I made.

I can't remember but how did Jones become Captain of the Dutchman?

Well considering he is Davy Jones... the man of the sea. And the Dutchman is the ship of the sea, I gues it was natural. *shrugs*
