And this.." he pointed to the women sitting on the chair by the window "is the beauty Goldberry..." before the hobbits got a good look at Goldberry Tom said "let me lead you to the washing room so you 4 can get washed up.. Tonight shall be a special night of merrymaking!" he led them to the washroom and then went to fetch some small clothes for the hobbits while singing

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
that washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
