The party is in the Golden Woods of Lothlorien. It is being held on a medium-sized plavilion surrounded by Mallorn trees. There are tables with drinks and cake.
Elwing smiled. She was almost fourteen! I hope people will come, she thought to herself. It's a nice day, and there's lots of food as well.

Turning at the sound of Gwen's voice, Elwing grinned. "Thanks!" she said. "I'm glad you could come."

Luthien waltzed into Lothlorien, a present balanced precariously on her hip. Spotting the birthday girl, Luth ran over to her sis and gave her a big hug. "Hi Varda! Happy birthday, dear! Are you having a good time? This place looks marvelous!" She grinned cheerily.

Elenriel and Legolas stepped on the pavilion, leading in a baby Pegasus for the birthday girl. A warm smile spread across Elenriel’s lips as she saw Elwing. “Happy Birthday, my dear!” she exclaimed as she embraced her. “We are so delighted to be here! Alyan is spending the day with his favorite baby sitter, so it‘s just us.” she exclaimed as her eyes shone with mirth. “Oh and before I forget, here are your gifts.” Elenriel replied as Legolas handed Elwing the Pegasus. “Happy Birthday, dear maiden.” he said smiling at her. “May it be filled with nothing but joy.” “And we also have this.” Elenriel added as she handed Elwing a small black velvet box containing a small diamond flower-shaped pendant. “I hope you like it.”

"Luthien!" Elwing exclaimed. "It's nice to see you, sis!" She heard movement by the enterance of the palvilion and saw Elenriel and Legolas coming towards her. "Thanks for coming," she said warmly as she hurried over to them. "The Pegasus is beautiful!" Taking the little box that Elenriel handed her, Elwing opened it and gasped as she saw the amazing pendant inside it. "I love it," she said, putting it around her neck.

Turwaithiel rode into the small realm among the trees. She patted Tathar before she leaped off and let Tathar go and graze in the forest. She walked up the long steps and into the back of Lorien, where she saw her friend, Elwing, smiled at an beautiful pendant that she put on her neck. She took her long wooden box with her present inside out of her small bag and she walked over to her.
