Annalett sighed, she when to her horse, and brought out a bandage from her saddle bag. She walked over to her friend and started wrapping the wound.
"Strange how a noble lady is friends with a thief," Annalett said, smiling as she finnished with the wound...

Lady Eruraina of Wyvern's Court sat on a bench in a garden just outside the castle. So far she had given many shapeshifters chores for the day. Her guards were waiting like statues in the shapes of a polar bear and a cheetah, at her sides. She, in her human form, read a blue leather bound book...

Annalett gave a grin that only people not in the castle saw. "I'm not that high in status. I'm just the Lord's great-niece. Now comeon, lets find out what those bounty hunters are up to..." she said, going back to her horse. She mounted and patted the place just behind the saddle for her friend to hop on...

Annalett smiled and when her friend joined her on the chestnut mare, she urged the horse onward. They trotted until the sound of many footsteps could be heard, then she slowed down to a walk. Every now and then, through the trees, Annalett could see some armor, or fur...

[I did read all the posts but I'm still a bit confused as to what's happening]
Melreth descended his great dragon form down by the gates of Wyvern's Court. He shifted back into his human form, then offered a mocking bow to the rumpled Lord Baron. "If you will follow me..."

[like when the heck did Layien come in? and where are Layien and Annalett right now... in the procession or trailing behind it?  ]
Melreth surreptitiously shifted away from Kirelasih, whose friendly manner made him uncomfortable. Ever the loner, he had decided long ago that he needed no friends.
He led the Lord's procession through the gates and into the audience hall. He offered yet another mocking bow before departing with the words, "I shall inform the Lady Eruraina of your presence." _________________

Annalett watched from a distance Lord Baron, his crew, and the shapeshifters. Sudenly she relized what Baron was going to do.
"Layien! Baron is going to trap, or KILL the shapeshifters! We have to warn them, and tell them about Baron!"
