Are the A-U mods judging? And if so, what are you looking for most in the art? (i.e., creativity, quality, effort?)

By the way, if someone drew a character from the movie, would they be regarded as having less creativity for not doing their own interpretation of the character or something?

Well, I imagine, yes -- there is less creativity, you see the picture, you're not imagining it yourself, but it's what you do WITH that solid picture that could make up for that lack of creativity.

I already tried editing it in Photoshop and making it darker, but one part of the image just won't darken It really wasn't that great anyway, so it's no big deal I drew it on a piece of notebook paper with a pencil!

here is my entry. i had to scan it but when i went to upload it on my dad copmuter it took forever. so i had to refresh the page and it took off the rest of his head so thats why its black at the top..ill try to reupload the picture before the contest ends..

The picture is of one of Sandro's elves. but i can't remember which one i drew.
