Yeah, I'd suspected they were fake for a while, especially after hearing Toby (or "Toebie" as we're prone to calling him) give very vague responses to them with just a hint of mischief about him (though Toby is just about always doing something mischievous)...We're really a bad lot over at KTTC. What with Pierce convincing everyone that Jack had a French cousin named Jock, me starting a massive rumor that Bootstrap was a eunuch and Will was adopted, and Toby making fake costumes and making them look like Jack was wearing them...it's a miracle there's anything trustworthy still out there on the web  . I kinda have an excuse because I'm just a teen and "don't know better" but Toby's 31, and Pierce is in her 50s, so I'm not sure what their excuses are (aside from it just being too darn fun).

Hmm..well I'm not entirely sure why anyone would want to start rumours like this one just for the fun of it. But that might just be me. However, the main picture (close up of Jack) was released via the studio and given to Empire (largest British film magazine). So I don't know what's fake or not now.

yeah, i think it was either in the club or the DMC thread that some one said that the costume was fake...

Well I have seen three pics of Johnny in that costume, and I think the close up one is official. I believe it to be the other two (in the distance so we can't see whose wearing it) to be the fakes.

Huh. I'm curious how Jack gets this Chinese outfit.
How much time will he have in the movie? It seems like his rescue would be the climax, but perhaps not...?
