Jack's head lifted as Gibbs poked his head into the cabin. His dark underlined eyes, caught Jenny's figure outside the door as well, yet he ignored her.
"Land? Well, what 'bout it?" He raised his eyebrows, placed a hand to his bandana and rested his elbow on the table.

Gibbs straightened and cast a disparaging look Jenny's way. He stuck his head back inside the door and elaborated, "Island, cap'n. Uncharted. Best if y'come have a look, if ye be getting my..." He made a conspirational gesture.

Robert scrambled away from Lee as though she carried poison. He backed himself against the wall, watching both her and Gibbs warily. He'd heard enough about backstabbing pirates. He nervously fingered the dagger at his belt, wondering if he'd ever have to use it.

Jack stood up from his chair, snatched his compass off the table and placed it back into his coat. "All right Mr. Gibbs...show me this piece of land.."
He sighed heavily and swaggered his body over to Gibbs and outside the door.

"Port side," Gibbs repeated, staggering to the rail. He could still feel the effects of the rum. He raised the spyglass to his eye, in all preparation of proving himself right to the famed Captain Jack Sparrow -
The island was nowhere to be seen.
"Cannot be," Gibbs muttered, lowering the spyglass. He brought it up to his eye again. This time, he could have sworn he glimpsed an ephemeral isle on the horizon before it vanished a split second later.

Bootstrap turned to follow the voice that had spoken to him (Lee), but it had disappeared. He shrugged his burly shoulders and looked back at the mess in the small kitchen.
"I can see it's been some time, lass....uh....do you need any 'elp?" Bill asked as he rubbed his nose.

Gibbs raised the spyglass to his eye for the third time. Not one island was to be seen. "I saw it, I did!" he exclaimed, handing the spyglass quickly to Jack.

Jack pulled the spyglass to his eye, sat for a few moments, then in a quick action he swung himself around and made the spyglass face Mr. Gibbs.
"Oh I see it! I see it! I see a complete git standing there and askin' me irritatin' questions...." He lowered the spyglass and eyed Gibbs for a while, "....oh good it's stopped now." He tossed the spyglass back to Gibbs and turned to leave.
