"I do," Barbossa replied shortly, rolling his eyes in annoyance. What had he done to deserve being assigned the role of babysitter? Oh well, better make the best of it... "I don't believe I caught either of yer names," he commented, changing the subject.

Kolher's day dreamy expression changed to a frown like Jack's. He tried to keep up with Barbossa, seeing as he was much shorter then him. Kolher's legs were skinny and boney but he was short for his age.
He looked up toward Barbossa as he asked them there names, "I be Kolher. At your service!" he then held out a hand for Hector to shake.

Jack butted into the ending of Koehler's last sentence, "And I am.." He inconspiciously pushed away the hand of the young boy's aside.
"Jack Sparrow.." He grinned and forced Barbossa to shake his hand as he took it in his grasp.

Kolher looked at Jack angrily and grunted under his breath. He then forcefully grapped Hector's free hand and shook it as well. "As I said before..." he then looked at Jack with his nose turned up,"I'm Kolher and I'll be of more value to you then him."

Barbossa sneered in disgust and freed both of his hands. "Somehow I doubt either of ye will do us much good, but beggars cannot be choosers, I suppose. Now, makes yerselves of use and start lookin' for able-bodied sailors."

Once Hector gave commands, Kolher took to it like a duck in the water. "AYE SIR!" Kolher yelled and then he turned on his heels and began walking toward the nearest pub. He swung his arms loosely at his sides.

Jack side-glanced Koehler as he walked away. He let out a frustrated sigh, then took a stand next to Barbossa. Swaggering next to him he looked up at the face, "Would ye be so kind as to tell me why exactly are ye and yer Cap'n are lookin' for more members for yer crew?"

Barbossa shrugged indifferently. "Last crew was full of imbeciles," he said offhandedly. "They were s'posed to show up an hour ago at the docks, but clearly none of 'em were intelligent enough to keep a simple date. The cap'n intends to take it out on my hide if we don't have a crew, so I'm findin' a new one. Any more pointless questions with which to waste my time?"

Jack's facials expression immediately changed. He leaned back into his spine and held up lazy hands as if he surrendered and shook his head back and forth feeling nothing more to say.

Kolher walked out from the pub empty handed. He walked toward Barbossa and Jack with his eyes downcast and his dreadlocks dangling in front of his face.
As he approached them, he said quietly, "Uh...I can't find any crewmen in there sir." He shook his head and glass particles fell to the floor. "Uh, ye see, I got hit in the head by one too many drunks."
