Here's my poems. Let me know what you guys think. My first one is kind of based one the struggles all people face. My second on is humorous. I got the idea from how my cat treats me, and how my sister, Eldarwen's own cat treats her
Disclaimer: PLEASE NO ONE COPY MY POEMS!!!! I worked extremely hard on them.

The Darkness, which used to war on my mind
By: Lydia King
---------------------------------------------------------
Far away in the gloom of my mind was a thought, which I hid from others
Every night it grew on me a haunting presence that make me cry
When I was young this thrashing demon was a part of my soul
It used me ruined my life
Made me wish I could loose my breath and fall into its fiery pit
I weeped as the chains grew tighter
Fighting till my soul grew faint
Soon I was close to giving into this hell
Every thought in my mind was bent towards my own destruction
Till one day something changed
I felt these shackles that bond me fall off me
Looking up I glanced upon a wondrous sight
There before my eyes was a man
He smiled at me with his eyes full of love, and concern
Taking away the shackles I felt the deathing thoughts in my heart leave my mind
Looking at me with those warm smiling eyes he spoke. “There will be no more thought of blood.”
Something about him reminded me of a dream
There had been a savior who was in my life when I was young
He held me close comforting me
But then I fled him because of lies
Now he has come back to save me from my own fate
There I wept into his arms till my tears went dry
Then I felt renewed the shadow was gone
I felt peace like I once did before I fled
Like I was living again that demon that wore on my mind for so long was gone
Now, yes now I was free
Free
Free from anger, which derived me towards those shadows
Free from pity that made me weak
Free from the invisible mockery which I thought was there
Now I feel the warm rays of the sun and believe that never again will darkness haunt my life

My Human Pet, and I
By: Lydia King
---------------------------------------------------------
It is 7 o’clock AM
Time for my human to serve me
Now usually they’re in bed sleeping
Which I have no idea why they sleep
Night is the perfect time to prowl for goodness sake
But then again they are strange race
So I jump on top their soft perch
Let claws out to greet their bed sheets
Then by kneading my paws into their back my human stirs
Shooting up, looking about with sweat on their faces they look so frightened
Then they look down at me
I smile a very cute and innocent smile
Soon it gets through their weak mind that I am hungry
Jumping off their perch they walk slowly out of my room
Yawning they look for my food
Making sure they don’t slack I rub my soft body against their legs, stepping on their paws from time to time
For you see humans love it when we give them affection
It’s the best way to get them to behave
Glancing down at me they smile, and take a cup of food to my room
To be sure they don’t slack I lead the way making them almost trip over me
I speak to them saying, “Faster servant I must eat now!”
They pat me on the head, and say “You're cute,”
I don’t think they got the message
But soon we reach my eating area
Jumping on it I purr and rub against their hand while they try to get my meal into the bowl
Soon I get to eat
They sigh and start to leave the room
This is not right says I
I jump off the perch and dash after them speaking over and over again “Come back now.”
After a little bit of persuasion they finally go back into the room, and watch me eat
It is so good to have a human pet
I think every cat should have one
Don’t you?
