Aras looked at Angel, then at Raven. "You can go." he told Angel, "But I'll come with you. Do you want to come, Raven?"

Cadeus, after scenting through the areas, did not find the Angels. He strolled near a group of houses when he saw five Angels from a window. He took out his gun, steadied it, and fired.

Layien looked at her and then behind her, adding, "Yes, my wings could use an good stretch. Come on, Reika, won't it be good to feel the wind go through your hair and the light breeze against your wings again?"

Aras heard gunfire from behind him. Raven was nearest him, and as he dived from his chair he grabbed Raven's arm and pulled her towards the floor. "Everyone get down!" he yelled. He wrapped an arm around Angel and pulled her downwards too.

Raven dropped instantly, giving Aras a funny look, then slowly, she sat up, rubbing her head where it has hit the floor.
"We need to get out of here..."

Reika grunted at the thought of bursting some day. but then she smiled at Layien. sometimes the only one that ever understood her. So she said "yea"

"Everyone get down!" Aras said

she ducked behind the stair way

Aras sat up, keeping away from the window. <i>They've found us.</i> he thought.
"We need to get out of here..." Raven said. Aras nodded.
"We can go out the back, maybe the Era-" he cut himself off, glancing at Angel. "Whoever's out there won't we've gone."

Layien was laying across from Aras. "We should make for somewhere high..." She said, lifted her head again then as another shot came buzzing by her ear she quickly ducked down, slamming her head against the floor. She rubbbed it where it hit the ground and looked over at Raven and Aras, whom she looked to as real leaders.

Cadeus ran out of ammo and instead of reloading, he turned into his wolf form and barged into the window, his jaws snarling. He landed on the table, upsetting breakfast items and began his search.

Layien could hear the screech of the Wolf in the kitchen. She could feel the air grow dense as darkness seemed to fill her mind and fear filled her heart. She looked over at Reika, who looked just as scared. She grabbed hold of her hand, trying to comfort her.

Aras ducked out of the room right before the wolf burst into the room, pulling Angel with him. He risked a peek around the corner. <i>Cadeus.</i> He recognized the Eraser from the School. Quietly he motioned the others to move down the hallway.

Raven made her way to the window, and unlatched it with long slender fingers, used to playing the old guitar that lay now forgotten in a room above. A blast of air swept into the room rustling the crtains, and hurling their hair into wild disarray.
"Get out into the park or the wood, and make sure noone's looking, then fly up into the sun. Dont stop climbing, and head towards the countryside."

"I think I might have jinxed us, saying it was like home here" Angel said sadly, but grabbed some backpacks from her bedand leapt out the window, unfurling her large white wings in mid jump. She gave a last longing look back at the house then flew away into the sun with the rest of them/

Raven was the last to take flight, she waited anxiously for the flock to jump out, eyes flicking back and forth to the door and the window.
Then, after making sure they were gone, grabbed her bag, a worn black thing t
hat she kept packed just in case, and threw herself into the air, glossy wings catching the light, and beating with muscles stronger than her legs.

Reika sqeezed Layien's hand then ran after the others and took flight.. she sighed as she stretched her narrow tranceparent wings.

Aras waited until everyone except Raven had taken to the air. Seeing that the other Angel wasn't going to leave before him, he glanced out the window. He didn't see anyone, and jumped out, spreading his wings. He flew upwards, following the others.
