Lee watched her and smiled as she lead Flash back into his stall. She gave him an apple before pushing the large willbarell out of the barn and out towards the pile. After she finished, she walked over to the copetition list and smiled dreamily. "Flash would have been good in this competition." She muttered.

Hailey tried two more times, getting times of 17.6 and 16.9. Hailey was satisfied with Granit's progress, and brushed the mare down, after untacking her, and gave her a bath.

Hailey then put the buckskin mare out into the East Pasture and watched the high spirited mare frollic around for awhile before starting to graze...

Hannah signed up for the First wester one and the Green Dale Eventing one. She figured Goldie could use a good barrel racing show. She was old sure but she was blazing fast . She entered Goldie in the competition and entered Spot in the Eventing one.

She went to tack up Spotfor some jumping practicing and some dressage practicing. Spot saw Hannah and immediately went NUTZ!

Hailey ran to the barn when she heard a distressed whinny that was more like a horse screaming. A halted infront of Spice's stall, the pregnant mare was lieing on her side, bobbing her head, and kicking her legs around in the bedding. The paint mare stopped, and gave another high pitched whinney.

Hailey opened the door and went to the mare, and felt her hand on the mare's stomach.
"she's convusing... But it's still two weaks till the baby is do..." Hailey said confused, she wiped a stray strand of hair out of her eyes. The mare was giving birth, early.

She quickly ran out into the yard, and called to the first person she saw, Hannah, and called out, "Hannah, call the vet, and quick. Spice is having her foal, the numbers on the office door!"

Gabe was outside at the time on Roman refreshing on the geldings cutting skills with a cow he had gone out and borrowed from a friend.
Roman turned about on his hind legs as the cow made a mad dash back to the back of the pasture that he was using.
Gabe4 sat deep down in the saddle and kept Roman's head on the small cow.

Jack had just Green Dale Eventing. He walked Skie back into the barn,"You need rest, right big boy?" He told the horse. The horse picked is ears up at the sound and neigh loudly. "Hush You." He told the horse.

The Quiet A-U Gentlewomen

Hailey ran into the tack room and got the medicle kit. She ran to Spice's stall, and rapped a bantage around her tail so it would be out of the way. The she positioned herself so she could help pull the foal out. First the front legs. Hailey tugged on them gently between the horse's convulsions that became more and more. Soon only the backlegs were left, and the foal was free. Hailey took a cleansed cloth to wipe the foal's nose so it could breathe.

Hailey's glooved hands now had blood on them, and she was checking over the foal quickly before checking on Spice. The paint mare stood up slowly, sniffing over her faol. The little thing was trying to stand on it's wobly long legs.

Smiling, Hailey left the two alone. She kept the medicle kit next to the stall door.
"It's a healthy little colt," she called out to no one really. Her voice echoed through the barn. She walked to the sink in the tack room while pulling off her glooves, to wash up...

Hannah immediately heard the distress in Haileys voice and jumped off Spot and trotted him over to the office door she left him standing there and she dialed the vet. She came back to hold Spot who was looking around like nothing was happening. Hannah got the vet onthe phone and told him that Spice was having her foal. He said he was on his way and that to call him if there were any complications and he wasn't there yet. She hung up on him and went to the pasture to let Spot out she quickly took off his saddle and bridle and hung themup on the fence. She knew this is messy and it coud get damaged but it could stay there for a couple minutes.

She ran to check ont he mare and Hailey. She ran into the barn and Hannah was coming out of the stall. She told her it was a colt and I told her the vet was on the way.

Hailey smiled, and patted Hannah's shoulder, "Thanks."

She turned back around to lean on the half door to watch the colt wich had managed to stand and was suckling on Spice's udder...

Hannah walked over to Spice's stall To watch the colt with Hailey. It was beautiful.

Hannah heard a car roll up in the driveway and ran out to see if it was the vet. It was.

She called to him " Hey Spice is over here!"
He walked over to the barn and entered he then walked to Spice's stall and went in to check on the mother and foal.

The vet checked them over carefully. Then started talking to Hailey.
"The colt is healthy, I really don't see anything wrong with him, or Spice. But he is a bit small, smaller than any avrage foal"
"Thats probably because he was a few weaks early," Hailey thought out loud.
"Yeah, so you'll need to feed him extra milk. Spice won't be able to feed a colt this little that much"
"okay, got that"
"Okay, good bye"
"bye," Hailey said as the vet left in his truck. She then led Spice to a new stall, with the filly fallowing happily. After then cleaning out Spice's old stall, Hailey got her lasso, and went out to the round pen were Hidalgo was held...

Hannah said goodbye to the vet. She went to go take out Shadow for a little cross-country practice. He was ready to be taken out. She gave him a quick groom and put his tack on. Shadow looked happily at her as they were leaving the barn. She lead him to the cross country course and mounted him from the ground. He was a big horse so she had to use a lot of her strength to get up. Hannah took him around the fiel to warm him up then started going over some warm-up jumps and then jumped the course.

Hailey stood in the middle of the round pen, her cow boy hat pssitioned just right so Hidalgo couldn't see her eyes, yet she could watch his movements. It was only yesterday she had gotten close enouph, long enouph, to stoke his white muzzle just once before he started to ran to the opposite side of the round pen. Today Hailey aimed to get a halter on him.

Right now she had him going around the ring, slightly chasing him, wacking her lasso against the side of her leg to get him going to a good canter. After a few times around both clockwise, and counter clockwise, Hidalgo had settled down. Hailey put her lasso down, and just stood there, letting the horse get used to her presiance. Any sudden movement at this point and the weaks worth of training could be lonst. She was trying to gain the wild mustang's trust...

Hannah was looking at the round pen from a distance and she was watching Hailey ry and gain the mustangs trust. It was kinda working. She didn't want to ruin any of her work so she walked to Goldies stall and tacked her p for some barrel racing practice.

Goldie and Hannah were walking by the round pen when Hidalgo ran over to the fence where Goldie was and started whinnying at Goldie. " Sorry" i yelled to Hailey. Goldie was pulling her bridle to try and get over to Hidalgo finally Hannah walked the mare to Hidalgo and they immediately bonded. Hannah decided to let the two be so she took off Goldies tack and let her out in the round pen.

Hailey smiled at how Hidalgo got along with Goldie. Sudenly the red-head had an idea. She walked up to Goldie, and gave her a treat, and petted her, while Hidalgo looked at the two in confusion. Hailey held out a treat to Hidalgo. He came up to her slowly and took the treat. Hailey gave hime two more, then was able to slip on a halter while he was eating the second...

Gabe went to go drop of the cow and drove past a sighn at the humane society.
"Resposible Owner Needed for Horses"

He walked in and saw A stall with two Bretons, a stall with a clydsdale, a Dutch Draught, and A Shire. He walked closer to the end of the row and saw a smaller stall with a rather large dog in it. I fhe could have guessed he would have said a German Sheperd Cow mix,but it had a charector in its eyes that Gabe had only seen in a few things. Babies mainly, but he wanted that dog ....and half the horses on the row.
" Can I help you Sir?" A girl with blonde hair asked him.
" Uh yeah I'd like to adopt this dog, the two Bretons, and the dutch draught." he stated as he looked each of them down . The Horses were in good shape ,but the dog wasn't. He was thin and scragly, but he was pretty.
