Eh...wouldn't say Barbossa's turned over a new leaf at all. One has to bear in mind that Barbossa and Jack were written to be two sides of the same coin, so to speak. Yes, Barbossa's a bit more ruthless and aggressive than Jack, but they're both self-serving, brilliant strategists, opportunistic, and very ambiguous in their allegiances. Each one sticks with whatever side serves his own personal goals best, and only for as long as it does so. I would very much expect to see the villainous old Barbossa at least once before the film's done.

Well as we haven't seen anything or read anything to prove otherwise I'm keeping an open mind. We don't even know exactly under what circumstances he was "brought back from the dead". What if he "does a Gandalf" and comes back just to help Jack and then re-dies? Anything is possible with these films. I'm sure Tia wouldn't just bring Barbossa back for him to go and mutiny again, I'm sure some rules were made._________________

"We" being a very general term here, aye? Because while "we" have not seen anything or read anything, "I" have. And while nothing is set in stone until the day of the theatrical release, there are some things that have already been confirmed. When I say that I would very much expect to see something, I mean that I fully expect to and will unless something is changed.
