Well, I scanned it in before, and then managed to host it, but that copy was to light, so I darkened it then scanned it back in, and now it won't work. Does color effect it?

Well, sometimes yes. If you darkened it, that means more tones, and more tones means bigger file size. I recommend that you resize the image before trying to upload it, it'll be a lot easier for us to view it also, as the picture will be huge and take ages to load if you don't. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone, hate to doublepost but I finished my artwork, and I think it deserves a post of it's own! 
This one took about 7 hours from start to finish, over the course of about three days. No blending tools used in this one! The theme was Faramir, obviously, but more of him contemplating his place serving his troubled father as a Captain of Gondor. Thanks for looking!

Yes, I did! I've been realistically drawing for about 2 1/2 years, it takes a lot of effort and learning! 2 years ago I wouldn't be able to have the same smooth pencil strokes I do now, it takes a tremendous amount of time and practice, and a steady wrist.
By the way, the drawing took about three 2-hour art classes and some extra time on the side. I've never really taken any formal art classes, the thing I go to is only in the summer, and you just get to free-draw whatever you want, it's actually a cartooning class! But I don't draw the cartoons...
Oh yeah that's true, he isn't really the Prince of Gondor, but I thought Denethor was steward... *shrugs* _________________ The past is just the future with the lights on.

I'm going to be able to submit my piece today (I know it is last minute, but I was busy and the person who could help me decrease the fie size without blowing my head off in cunfuzzlement is a mere 10 minutes away. It will be in soon, so please don't close the contest without me. That would really make me sad. I'd have to eat cheese.

yay it actually uploaded. The elvishly letters everywhere are arwens song in sindarin (na min hwest/le rinc palan/na min tofn ind/alpeth an ped/le innas henio/i ardhan prestannen an-uir/a i brethil si calen o mall/a i Anor si peleth/im iest an garo annir
yes I know I have terrible grammer in sindarin but too bad. And the big elvishly letters say "man carle caro ir pan bado meth vi gur?" or "what do you do when all paths end in death?"
