Hannah smiled at the response Hidalgo gave Hailey. She gave Hailey a nod in a response like a 'good job/well done.' Goldie seemed to love the young Mustang. It was almost like he brought the life out in her.

Hailey felt proud of the work she did with Hidalgo today. She led Goldie out of the round pen, and left Hidalgo there, after giving him some hay. She was going to work with him more tommorow. Now she had a few more horses to exercise, and alot to do in the office. She was still working on paying off the dedts on the ranch. Hailey had accuired the 100 acre ranch when her grandpa died a few months ago, and had left it to her. She moved in right away with the only two horses she had at the time. Now the number of horses at the ranch had multiplied.

Hailey made sure everything was alright, in a few hours she had a 'date' as in a trail ride with a cowboy she was dating. His name was Kieth Briar, a local cowboy that owned a 10 acre ranch right next to her ranch. He owned 20 horses, 30 cows, 20 chickens, and two pigs. He was only a few inches taller than Haileys 5'6" and had cropped dark hair. He was stalky and strong, and around here he was known as the horse wisperer...

Hannah needed to take Goldie out but she felt like taking Spot out again for some trial runs. After all the competition was coming up and he needed to practice.

She tacked him up and led him out to do some dressage movements for the 3-day eventing competition. He knew the basic movements such as extended walk, trot, and canter. He also knew collected walk, trot ,and canter. She wanted to teach him right shoulder- in today. He was kinda getting to know it and if he got it today she might even start on Left shoulder-in.

Gabe went and found the three new horses a stall.The Bretons double stall was next to Hannah's horses stall. They both fit in quite nice . He groomed them both down and hooked the dog up to a very very very loose lead. " Driving potential." he mumbled under his breath as he felt the female's chest

Hannah was done with Spot for the day. She led him to the wash stall, took off his tack and washed him up. She gave him a soapy bath today because he worked really well for her and it was time for one. Spot's coat shined when she was done washing him. she mumbled," All the ladies are going to love you now, your coats so soft and silky." She laudhed under her breath. Spot went back to his stall and he saw the two Bretons and he was immediately curious. He went into his stall and started poking his nose around the bars that sperate his stall from theirs.

Leanne looked at Hailey.
"Yeah. It was a long day yesterday..." She smiled and continued tacking up Remi for Rachel.

"Hi Leanne!" A small voice said. Leanne turned around and saw Rachel walking over to her.
"Hey Rachel. Why don't you put your helmet on and I'll get Remi's bridle on. I'll meet you by the mounting block!" Leanne said, and slipped Remi's bridle over his head.

Hailey got out Dragon, her white stallion. He stood calmly as she groomed it until he shone, and then started braiding his mane...

Hannah went and tacked up Shadow just for some training in some basic dressage movements. Shadow wasn't rained in dressage and Hannah needed to rain him in some basic movements.

She led him out to the middle of the barn and put to ropes around the sides of his halter. He stood there while she groomed him and put his tack on. He seemed sleepy today, but that was about to change.

Shadow got to the dressage arena and Hannah mounted him. Shadow was beautiful but in dressage he moved like a nut job. He didnt know what to do. He was born to be a jumper. Hannah was determined to make him more graceful.

Leanne watched as Rachel trotted Remington on the rail.
"Rachel, push your shoulders back and really sink down on that heel. Your toe is coming down and you have too much foot in the stirrup. If you press on that heel, you'll have a sturdier lower leg." Leanne said. She watched as Rachel slid her foot back so that the ball of her foot was pressng lightly on the stirrups.
"I don't want you to depend on your stirrups for balance, or your reins. Don't post with your seat, sweetie. Come here for a second," Leanne said.
Rachel walked Remi to the inside of the arena. Leanne tied Rachel's reins in a knot at the buckle.
"There, now go pick up a posting trot on the rail. Hold your hands on your hips and really find your balance point." Leanne said. She nodded and smiled as rachel stayed balanced in the center of the saddle.
"Perfect. Pick up your reins and push him into a collected canter."

Shadow was confused at what Hannah was trying to ask him. He was used to being free. She was doing the collected movements with him. He kept on throwing up his head when she pulled him back and sunk in the saddle. Hannah thought to herself , maybe he needs a running martingale. If he keeps lifting up his head like this i might need to use one. He calmed down though and got used tothe fact. He was a stubborn horse and didn't like to be told what to do, but Hannah needed to change that. She knew it takes a extremely disciplined horse to do dressage.

Hailey put on Dragon's western saddle and bridle, and led him out to the yard just as a black truck with a blue horse trailer drove into the yard. Kieth Brair jumped out of the drivers seat and walked over to Hailey.
"You're early," she remarked.
"Yeah, I finnished my last job early, so I decided to just come on over." he said as he gave her a hug and a small kiss on the cheak.
"Alright, ready to go? The quicker we go for the ride, the longer it can be. And I would like to get back here by noon."
"Okay," he said cooly, "let me get Deroto from the trailer and tack 'im up"
With that Keith went to the trailer and unloaded a huge Quarter horse stallion. He was a chestnut with a black down the nose, and three white socks, two on the front legs, one on the back...

Shadow was starting to get the basic movements. He was mad at Hannah though. He sometimes would try and throw her off when he was angry. He definately tried one time but Hannah showed him who was boss. She stayed on and smacked him really hard with her crop. (( I KNOW IT SOUNDS CRUEL BUT ITS NOT)) He straightened out after that and started to listen. He figured out it really wasn't that bad.

Hailey and Keith rose out on Dragon and Deroto. They took a different trail than the ones usually used. This one wound through the mountains, and on this one you could see more wild horses that roam about 90 of the 100 acres of the ranch. Soon the two riders came across many herds of wild horses, one there were two stallions fighting, and they stopped to watch to see who would win. The bigger, and bay, won and got his prize of the mare they were fighting over. After about an hour more of riding, the two had arrived back at the ranch at just past noon.
Hailey groomed Dragon and put him in the east pasture, while keith put Deroto in an empty stall in the big barn.
Hailey went to the spand of grass just behind the house, that had a grill, and picknick table. She ran inside, and came out with paperplates, chips, and hotdogs. Hailey turned on the grill, and started cooking hot dogs...

She thought he was doing good and gave him a rest for the day. She walked him around and gave hima long rein. She then dismounted him and brougt him back to the barn. She washed him off and set him out int he pasture. He was happy he took off running the second she took his halter off. Then he rolled arund in the dirt. OF COURSE! hannah thought to her self. She yelled to him," I JUST WASHED YOU YOU SILLY HORSE!" He just got up and trotted around like "hahahahahaha"

Leanne untacked Remi and put him away. Rachel had left and there was no work to be done. She decided she'd go grab a bite to eat.

Hannah was laughing so hard she fell down. She loved Shadow he just had the funniest attitude.
