"Lle creoso." Elwen said, managing a smile, before disposing of the arrow. She then stood. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to return to my watch.." With that, she walked away again, and Aradan shook his head as she left.

Turwaithiel turned and stood, saying, "Well, how can I make up for the kindess your sister and you have shown me, m'lord?" She asked.

"You don't have to repay us, m'lady. And you don't have to call me lord, either." Aradan said, turning his head and looking at Turwaithiel.

Turwaithiel sat again, sighing. "It is my duty, though. You an an mightly Lord among an mighty race...I am just...an Elf with an nack for battle, I'd say." She chuckled softly.

"'Mighty Lord'?" Aradan repeated, then chuckled. "Hardly an apt description."

Turwaithiel looked up at him, her dark brown breeches torn an bit on her lower legs as he long blue cloak covered her dark blue tunic. She looked up at him, his eyes shinning, making her blush and look down. "I have been raised an warrior...never seen the other 'safe' way of life...though, when I tell people this, they think I must hate it, and pity me...but...I really don't regret it..." She looked up at him again as she added, "It's like...this is the way I must live my life...it's the way I live my life...and I'm glad I'm not some royal whom never seen the like of day..." She then bit her tounge and said, "Sorry...I didn't mean anything..."

Aradan's first response was a chuckle of amusement. "I must say, I've heard worse insinuations about royalty before..much worse."

Turwaithiel nodded. "Yes, so have I..." Then, she sighed and said, standing, "I'm sorry to intrude...I will leave you all in peace..." She walked over to her horse and took out an golden pheonix feather. "May this give you light and sight in even the blindest and darkest places." She said, giving him the feather in an case with silver engravings on the case.

Elenriel Greenleaf wrote:
Elenriel sat staring into the fire, her lithe legs folded beneath her. A deep cut on her cheek and bruised temple were the only two signs that gave testament of the day’s battle. Yet, the haunted look in her eyes bore told the story as few words could. How many? she thought silently as she continued to stare into the flames. How many must I see die before this madness ends? A single silver tear fell from her eyes. The two that had fallen were friends of hers. She could not believe they were gone-that she had failed to save them. She looked up at her husband as he sat with them. There was hard look in Prince Legolas’s eyes that she had never seen before. He was right. Bickering would get them nowhere. But yet the question remained, how could they turn the tide? Their army was divided and their number too few. “If only there could be a way…” she mused quietly under her breath. With that Elenriel stood and walked quietly over to Meleth. Sitting beside the other maiden, she gazed at her, concern filling her eyes. "Your wounds are deep." she said softly. "Will you allow me to help you?"

((Lol thanks for waiting up  i leave for an hour and whoa!))

Meleth's head snapped up and she straightened, her slender legs still folded beneath her. For a minute her lips tightened as her pride took hold - but she had to face it, she was in no position to argue. She glanced at the ground and then back at Elenriel. "Your - your help would be appreciated indeed, mellon nin," she replied, managing to swallow her pride, and with good reason. Out of the firelight she did look flushed, and her arm hung motionless at her side. She had been fighting a long time, or she would never have let herself accumulate so many wounds. Meleth closed her eyes a moment. The two elves that had died were like another nail in the coffin - how many more would she see struck down by these foul servants of Sauron?

Aradan took the feather and case from her, and examined both of them silently, grey eyes glinting slightly from the light of the fire. "I..don't know how to thank you for this.."

(do you write? your words are amazing!)

Turwaithiel turned to him and said, "Battle lays ahead for any land that stands free...I fear death will find me quickly, so you will need it more than I...Farewell." She mounted Tathar but she feared also that he heard the regret in her voice for having to leave...now that her own group was gone and orcs patrolled the borders of distance lands; she knew death would take her very quick.

Aradan indeed heard the regret in her voice, but didn't know how to respond to that. It was not his place to argue with her decisions, anyway..despite any feelings he had. "Namarie, m'lady Turwaithiel.."

Turwaithiel sighed heavily and turned once more. "I hope that our paths will meet again, M'lord Aradan. Nelmaire, e Ná Elbereth veria le, ná elenath dín síla erin rád o chuil lín." She looked at him regretfully and then forced an small smile. "Tell your sister many thanks for me, Son of Lords." Then, she told Tathar, "Ha, ha, Tathar, onwards to battle and Gurth 'ni yrch!" Then, Tathar whinnied and rode away.
