Well then let's see: roast chicken and roast potatoes with a lovely stuffing to go with it and a huge boat of gravy. *mouth waters* *goes off to cook*

wow, can i join? i'm not british (sad!) but i have several british friends, and i absolutely love them. they're amazing people. i wish i was british...
anyways, hmm a phrase...
one of my friends said this "i remeber everyone around used to say 'dodgy' and i wanted to be different, so i say 'sketchy.' but now its catching on and lots of people say 'sketchy,' so i don't sound original anymore..." or something of that sort. if anything in there is wrong, don't argue with me, he said it not me.
anyways, it may not be "typically british," but my favorite phrase i associate with the british is "sketchy business".
(i think this post is long enough...)

Welcome, welcome!!
Well, now that we've solved the main course, what shall we have for dessert? Lemon-meringue pie or blackberry-apple tart?

Lemon Meringue is awesome, but I think that, as the British Society, we should have apple crumble for dessert. The apples are just coming into season...
And if anyone fancies a variation, I'll do roast beef. British beef obviously

Lol, yeah. I am the Official Chocolate Fudge Cake Fiend.
My ideal British meal would be:
Lamb with mint sauce, roast potatoes, garden peas and Yorkshire puddings (the latter eaten separately with sugar)
For desert I would have any of the following:
Chocolate fudge cake, Bakewell tart, apple crumble, lemon meringue, coconut cake

^ What, all of them? *thinks* Hey, actually, that is one awesome idea. In seperate bowls of course, but a fantastic idea. No way my parents would let that happen though. i'll have to wait a couple of years
