Quick question- Which copy of Phantom of the Opera is the best to read? There are several copies, each depicting the story differently, and at different levels of reading comprehension, written by different authors, so which one do you think would be the better read?

i understand that the autor did find that a sort of phantom haunted the opera, and call me a fool, but i do believe that there was such a character as the persian and that leroux somehow interviewed him, but i think the plot and all those deatails we have of the raoul/christine/erik relationship are fiction
