After sitting there for a few minutes, Elwen sighed and finally opened her eyes again, and brushed away a few stray tears, then stood and straightened her dress. Thinking Sadron was probably somewhere nearby, she called into the silence, "Sadron, wherever you are, I'm sorry..I feel the same way you do, and I know I've probably ruined things..I don't, and probably shouldn't, expect to see you again after this, so namarie.." After saying that, she sighed once again and left in the way she had come.

Upon excusing herself from the dinning room, Lorwen found herself walking aimlessly through the hallways of the palace. She perked up when she heard foot steps ahead of her. “Elwen, is everything alright?” she asked even though it didn’t take a genius to figure out that she was upset.

Elwen gasped softly in surprise. She hadn't expected to run into anyone else, but she had..smiling weakly, she said quietly, "Everything's fine.." That sounded to be a weak response, even to her own ears, but she didn't really care just then..

After what seemed like an age, Sadron stood up, and dusted himself down, taking deep breaths to calm his racing heart.
Swiftly, he departed the room, and unhearing, unseeing, bling to all, he made his way into the gardens, inhaling the dusky, flower perfumed air as though it was an antidote to his trouble.

Locien, unperturbed, simply sat back, and watched the other elves again, neither aware of truely what he had done, or what he was seeing.
He picked up a silver goblet, and turned it slowly in his hands, watching it sparkle as the light caressed it.

Meleth's fingers gripped the railing tightly as she stared at the ground, her mind in a turmoil. Silly goose, she thought to herself. Go back in there! But she couldn't.

Without waiting for an answer to her statement from Lorwen, Elwen walked off again, mind awhirl. She knew she should just forget trying to fix things between Sadron and herself, that it was most likely a hopeless cause..but her heart pleaded with her to try once more. Finding her steps leading her out to the gardens, she also felt her heart clench, realizing he was out there..standing off in the shadows, she vainly tried to force herself to go over to him..You'll make things worse. the voice of her conscience berated her, but she still had to try once more..bracing herself for any type of rebuff, she silently walked over to stand next to him.

Turwaithiel heard her question and turned again, replying, "Yes, my friend, but you should not worry...no one is looking for things like this." She said, smiling.

Lorwen knew something was wrong, but she also knew that know was not a good time to press the matter. As she watched as Elwen walked away she thought to herself, "I was worried this evening would be dull.”

Sadron turned to look at her, his face expressionless and unreadle, thoughts feelings locked away in a box.
"Yes?" he said coldly, briefly looking at her, then returning his gaze to the heavenly display of stars and move. The low white light caught in his hair, and brightend his skin, reddning his lips.

"I just came to apologize for how I reacted to what you told me..I really am sorry for that..I know that probably means nothing, but..I had to try.." she murmured, feeling slightly hurt by his tone, but half-expecting it, and feeling she deserved it. Turning, she started to walk away again, but as an afterthought, called over her shoulder, "And despite what you may think gauged by my reaction, I do care about you.."
