Sadron angled his head towards her and pointed at the sky. "You see the stars Elwen? They are so beautiful, and so graceful when they dance across the heavens in the slow pace. ((Well, Meleth doesn't particularly feel like chatting right now, sooo...))

Meleth pushed away from the railing, and without a backward glance, strode off down the balcony, silver hair glittering like a thousand tiny strands of diamond in the moonlight. She obviously wanted them to leave her alone.

Lorwen made her way out onto the balcony. With a sigh she leaned against the railing. She looked over to the side of her and saw another elf, Turwaithiel, standing there. “So,” she began, “you out here for the same reason I am? To get away from who ever you came with?”

Turwaithiel glanced over at the other Elf and sighed along with her. "No...I just want to be away...this is...not meant for me."

Lorwen smiled. "I know how you feel. I would much rather be out riding with my friends then pretending to be the lady my mother thinks I should."

Sadron watchd her for a moment the simply turned, and headed back towards the building, a heavy weight dragging his heart to his toes.
He may have a cutting tongue and sweet looks, but he was unstable when it came to friendships. The thought of commitment scared him; and now he had been rejected. He shoved thoughts of women out of his mind as he pushed open the door to the building, and stepped inside, seeming a proper soldiure, straightbacked and expressionless.
