None taken. I'm just amused.

I don't...but then again, I'm not trying to impress anyone really, yeah I wanna look good but...more for myself then anything...and if it was between guys and other girls...I'd be dressing up for the guys...heh, that's just me though...
**EDIT**
AHHHH!!! I just became a Dunaden!

Well, naturally there are exceptions. But I know for myself, I don't dress to impress guys, but a compliment from one of my girl friends makes me feel great

Fashion, one of my favourite topics. [Not meaning to sound vain or anything.] I'd like to proudly admit that I have never worn high heels in my entire life. It's just not possible for me. With high arches and narrow feet I just can't seem to find any that actually fit, and they are constantly a pain.
When you wear high heels you shorten the muscle in your calf. That's a bad thing for people who dance, like me. So, I generally stay away from them. You can still look classy wearing flats!
As for dressing to impress guys, I don't normally do that. It's just not who I am. But as Luth said, if one of my girl friends compliments me about what I'm wearing, my hair, etc then I really feel good inside.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Luth! People are always like, you don't need makeup to look pretty, don't hide behind a mask! I'm sorry, but putting on makeup really does boost my self-esteem. [And Grey Pilgrim, I sincerely apologize. I didn't mean any offense against you]
See, I don't wear make-up, and I hold nothing against girls who do. I just don't want to...it seems icky to me. And yet there are people who think I should wear make-up, and bug me about it constantly, inclding my sister and my parents. (Yes, i know tis strange) I think people should make their own decision. Sorry, but I feel no need to wear make-up!

^And that's totally fine! It's everyone's personal decision to make, as you said. If you don't want to wear make up, then please don't! It's not good to wear make up out of pressure from others...though I know I've been guilty of that.
I think I like to impress girls just a bit more than guys. This one girl I didn't even know in choir class told me she liked my shoes and I was totally beaming the whole day. But if a guy were to go, "Hey cute shirt" it wouldn't matter quite as much.

^ i think that would be cause girls are waaaay more observant than guys, guys are all like *shrug* when a girl can have a two-hour opinion about something you are wearing

Personally I think girls look better with no or little makeup. That is at least what I think. I know there are those that might oppose me. But still....honestly I don't think how applying red powder makes you any more pretty.

^Aye, I go with that as well
I personally prefer girls who don't wear make up. A girl wear loads of make up is an immediate turn off for me. I have no problem with girls wearing it, especially if it is subtle, but I think it kinda... hides the person they are, if you get what I mean.
I also think that maybe the person if more confident of who they are, and what they look like if they are not wearing make up (Please correct me if I'm wrong )
But it is all a matter of personal opinion, so whatever you do, someone will like it

My sister had a go at me coz i was wearing make up...i only put mascara on...and it wasn't that much...i think if you (us girls) wear enought make up just to bring out your eyes or something like that, that's ok...But too much makes you look like a tart. And that's not a nice face to look at is it? Also i think that if you put too much on, guys might get the wrong idea. coz girls who do stuff, wear alot of make up, then guys might think that we are all the same as the other females that do that stuff.

^haha.
(Istari, i LOVE your third avatar)
Well, let's see where I stand.
Girls dress up for girls. And that's the truth, because (at least i do this) when a group of girls get together, (and most of this is done not in critisism or anything, but simply beause that's what girls do) anyways, when a group of "girl-friends" get together, the first thing that's done. mentally, is to look at what you're wearing. And for a lot of girls (this isn't a vain or naive action in itslef, but simply something that's done, like intstinct, and then set aside) for a lot of girls, they like to compare themselves, what they're wearing, how thier hair is done, and how they look in general, to the other members of the party, and decide wether they indeed look veyr nice tonight, or they should try harder next time.
You may not have noticed that you've done this, ladies, simply because it's something that's done with noticing.
Anyways, on the subject of make-up, I only wear eyeliner, and I don't kill it either, I personally think it brings out my dull eyes, and plus I was told I look good with eyeliner.
I DON'T like the exaggeration of make-up, it's just blech. If you're 18+ i suppose it's fine. But girls my age, it's silly, to see 14 year olds running around with blush, and tons of eyeshadow, and rouged lips, it's stupid.
The only thing I wouldn't mind on girls my age of the things listed aboe, is subtle eyeshadow. Subtle.
ummmm.....yeah.

I just wear the clothes I like and I feel comfortable with. Also I like to buy things which are a bit different than all the other girls in school wear. Of course if I'm going to a party I want to look nice (also for the boys, not that they will ever notice.. ) I actually have never worn high heels. They hurt and I like my flats much better As for the make-up, I do wear make-up (only mascara) but not too much. Because of my blond hair, my face looks somewhat pale so I like to bring out my eyes with some make-up. Quote: I DON'T like the exaggeration of make-up, it's just blech. ^^ It is.. I know some of these girls from school who are 13 but wear make-up (and dress themselves) as if they're 18 Crazy..
Oh.. eh, Could I join?

you DO NOT HAVE DULL EYES!!!! they happen to be very big and brown and pretty...*looks around* hehe
but i think the eyeliner makes your features stand out, and not cover them in flashy colors(blush)...and i do think subtleness is key....i mean, it looks like...(pardon the expression) hookerish
