Jack's cheeks rose to a half grin, "It's probable miss Devina..."
He nodded her off, and turned away, saunting his way over to where Lin was. He gave a glance back at Devina once more, and patted his compass while giving her an obvious wink.

Lin looked over to see Jack comming closer to her and she turned around and put her back to him. She knew that something was wrong with her and it was because of him and that Devina. Lin knew they started all of this but now she was to far gone to do anything about it. If she lived to see another day she would take care of both of them. Till then she would not have a thing to do with them if she could help it.
Lin thought about jumping the ship more often now, but she knew she would die, not being close to land and all. "What have then done, what are they thinking, oh look at that bird, wait a bird no, thats not right. Oh look what i'm wearing, i look horrid, whats in my pocket." She placed her hand in her pocket and pulled out that shinney gold coin. She twisted it in her fingers as the sun shone off it's surface. She just stared at it like it was her salvation.

He stifled up his nose, glancing over her small, boney frame. She didn't look normal, and it was no doubt, freaking Sparrow out.

Lin turned around and faced Jack "why do ye care, ye care don't care about anything but yeself and this ship." She turned her back on him again "thats why i'm like this, i know it has something to do with you and that women. I was fine untill i got on this ship, i should have listened to myself."

Jack backed away from Lin with arms help up at his sides. "We 'ad somethin' to do with the somethin' what-what?" He tried to act confused, and you know what, he was convincing.

Lin shook her head, she didn't really believe him, never trust a pirate no matter how good of friends you are. As Lin looked back over the side of the ship she began to feel very sick. Her head was swimming and she was hot to the touch and it was not due to the sun.
Lin always had the bag at her side and on that first night she had looked into the bag to find the box that Devina had said was inside. She opened it once everyone else was below deck, only to see the most beautiful gems she had ever seen. She was never going to give them back, she could sell them for good money.
Now that she was sick, she was starting to put the clue's together, she hadn't gotten sick till she boarded the ship. Or so that is what she thought at first, now she was seeing through her fevored mind that it was not the ship but when she got the bag with the box that she started to feel odd and become like she is now.
However, she was much to hooked on shinney things that there was no way she would part with that box. She came to the realization at that moment that this would most likely be her death. This would have been tragic had she cared, but she was feeling so bad that she didn't care about much of anything other then shinney things.
Lin suddenly fell to the deck, her body giving out under her weight. She hit the deck hard and her head bounced off the wood. When she fell she knocked the wind out of her small frame and her eyes closed. She was now unconsious, though some might think her dead from the way she looked.

"Ah!" Jack jumped back as the body nearly fell onto him.
Once Lin had settled onto the floor, and wasn't moving anymore, Jack poked his head over her with a stifled nose. He poked her in the shoulder.
Then with a very satisfied grin his head popped back up and looked to Devina, "I think it worked!"
