I like guys who just are theirselves (also among friends) he shouldn't try to be cool or impress girls. I like guys with whom I can talk and laugh with, really outgoing types. Ehm, lets see I like it when boys are romantic, like you have discussed before, be curtious, opening doors like that.
For the moment I can't think of anything else.. As I said before it depends on the girl but also the guy.

The "stupid ones" that most girls fall for fal into this category: The girl is probablly deperate for aguy, however shallow, as lon as he's good looking, it's ok. And the guy's like..."oh, what they hey" and then they go out.

I personally wouldn't mind an attractive factor in(we will refer to him as) "my guy". Buuuuut, personality means SOOOOO much. Not saying I want a nerd, but I wouldn't want an idiot as a borfriend. And (like Will said) I've got to be able to talk to him, and if I can tell a guy about problems etc., which probablly means i trust him a lot, that's perfect. He also has to have a sense of humor...boring guys..are well.....boring. I also really like looking at guys' eyes, don't ask me why, anyone i know can vouch for the fact that I really like eyes. =D
But what happens sometimes, is that when I've known a guy for so long, I get really close to him (as friends,,right?) and i feel that we're like brothers that when starts liking me (and vice versa) things just get so wiiiierd.
But, that's off topic. wellll, yeah, i pretyt much told you. Personality is key. =D

What I call "the most stupid guys in the world" are guys that lack common sense and apparently gave up their minds for something else. As for what I find attractive in women is someone that has the same values and intelligence as I do. And those values are intelligence and independence among other things. And artistic talents play a role in my attractive factor as well. In all honesty, I really don't know myself what I find attractive. What I managed to reveal about myself is listed above.

Looks and attractiveness really have no impact on me (or if they do, the crush doesn't last very long). I usually fall for the guys with some level of intelligence, creativity, the same interests as me, etc. A little angst here or there is nice as well

I enjoy seeing everyone's opinions in this thread. It's quite interesting

I look for several things in a guy: honesty, a sense of humour, the same beliefs (Christian), and a nice personality, etc. (the list goes on for a while!) I am really turned off by guys who swear, drink/smoke, or are disrepectful to people, especially women. Some people say my standards are really high, but I believe that if there is a guy out there right for me, God will lead us together. That takes a whole lot of pressure off of me!

I like guys who act like themselves, not how other people want them to act. If a guy is trying to act "tough" or whatever around me, I am immediately turned off. I just want the guy to act normal around me, and to be able to talk to me, and share his thoughts and feelings.
Another attribute of the perfect guy for me would have to be that he has a sense of humour, as you can never go wrong with that. He must also know when to stop joking around and be serious. I'd like him to be thoughtful and courteous of other people's opinions and feelings, but he should be strong-minded, also.
Whether he is deemed "attractive" or not by the world matters not to me. As long as we are happy in eachothers company I'll be okay. Love is blind, so it does not matter much what the person looks like, you'll love them anyway.

EDIT: Sometime's I feel as if guys only look at what's on the outside [of girls] to determine whether they are attracted to them or not. Personally this bothers me. As many of us [girls I mean] said before, we are not pictures to be oggled and looked at. Not every one of us is deemed beautiful by the world and it doesn't help that guys tend to look for that more than other characteristics in a girl.

He must have the same beliefs as I have, and as others have said, I love guys with a sense of humor.

But what I find so hard to come by these days, is a guy who I can be myself around. If by any chance I am able to capture their attention, I find it's not worth it so very soon. All I feel is the pressure of "putting on a show", acting "cute" and funny so that he'll stay around. The guy has got to be mature. Mature enough to treat girls with respect, be able to talk to them as friends. I've got to feel comfortable around him, and safe. That's a huge factor.

When it comes to first impressions, first glances, the guy who catches my eye is the one who looks fairly athletic. I'm sorry, but the first thing I can notice about a guy is his looks. And they do matter a bit, but definitely not as much as the stuff I mentioned earlier.

Ahhh, well said. This is all in my opinion, so you may not agree, but this is how it goes in my book.

You guys don't want a girl who goes after every cute guy she can get her hands on. You may love her to death, but she's already given away too much of herself to others before you for there to be much left. There's this thing we girls feel, that we need to have a boy friend in order to count as real, solid girls. We need a boy friend to know that we matter. I've never dated, and yet I feel that pressure very strongly! So the thing is, some girls will do just about anything to secure themselves with someone of the opposite sex.

As for me, I'm not going to waste my time if I don't think the guy has potential for becoming a life long partner. It will mean so much more when I finally meet that man, that I've waited for him. The man of my dreams means that much to me already.

I would also like to go into detail about what I base this on, but I'm not aloud to, so I'll end it there.

Girls ( or maybe just me) go for guys who know who they are, are themselves. I love a guy who kows where hes at, plus looks are very important, tall and mysterious is a good one! A guy who doesn't pressure, doesn't force and lets a girl be herdelf, not rying to change her, sensitive, caring, lots of humour,
