Hmm...... so far in the brainstorming department, I have nothing. We could each make a post on that day with reasons why we love them. Frodo's going to be too old for this, but since Elijah's going to be twenty five, how about twenty five reasons? I don't know. That's all I've got so far. I was 'finking cake, but virtual cake is not that good in my opinion. Other people post their ideas.

I like your twenty-five posts of why we love him idea. That would be perfect. Anyways, now for Frodo, hmmmm...I feel really bad but I can't think of anything. I'm not all that great at coming up with ideas unfortunately. What if we all posted a tribute to him being a hero. Like writing a poem, or just a paragraph as to why he's our hero. Ok hold on! Never mind, that's just dumb! Sorry, that's all I got!

I don't think that's dumb at all! I think it's a good idea! Ok. So now we just have to see if everyone agrees with our ideas. Which they probably will. Hooray! Now I'm excited! And I've still got a month to wait for Frodo and 5 months-ish to wait for Elijah. But I'm excited! Hurry up birthdays! Get here!
In the meantime, let's discuss. Something. About Frodo and/or Lij. Someone pick a topic. I can't come up with anything clever right now.
*sigh* Just so you all know, I am starting classes again tomorrow, which means I will probably be on here less frequently. More in the evenings as well. But I'll definitely be on at least once a day!

I do like the idea of poems for Frodo, and myabe for Lij too. Plus, whatever Eariel pulls out of that brain of hers. And maybe Frorever will have some ideas when she gets back. 10 days before Frodo's birthday, she'll be back.

I guess we might just have to wait until Forever gets back. I think she'll definately want to be part of brainstorming for the celebrations. But we should keep thinking about ideas in the meantime.

I will. Glad you liked it. (Actually, i'm working on a sequel which is--so far--more than twice as long , so i'll let you know when i post that on my blog.)
Aw, thanks TT. Hopefully this brain of mine will come up with some good ideas. Speaking of which, i was thinking we could also post pictures of the Frodo and Lij on their respective birthdays. Just a thought. We should see what Forever comes up with, too.
Unfortunately, i'll be in camping in Yosimite on Frodo's actual birthday, and thus unable to post. It's on a Friday, though, and i'll be coming back that Saturday, i think...so i'll be with you soon afterwards!

I like it. We can each find one of our favorite pictures of Frodo and one of our favorite pictures of Lij and then post them! I'll get too see so many wonderful pictures those days! I think we should have a ruel about that though, that we can't repeat pictures. So we should check the posts before us to make sure they don't have the same picture(s) we do. That way, we'll each get to see a maximum number of Frodo/Lij pictures. Just a thought.
I think Forever will definitely have some inspired ideas when she comes back, but we should keep thinking about it in the meantime.
So, so far we have posting 26 ( ) resons why we love Lij on his birthday, posting a poem/paragraph about why we love Frodo/he is our hero, and posting pictures of each on their birthday. I'd say we're looking pretty good. Keep the ideas a'coming guys! If it gets to be too many ideas, we can always change things or vote.
That stinks you'll be away for Frodo's birthday Eariel, but if you'll be back the next day, it's just as good. I would't sweat it.
I think that's about all I have to say at present.

It's definitely better to have too many ideas than not enough. It's a good plan to keep coming up with ideas until Forever gets back. Than we can listen to her ideas, out them all together and vote! There! An idea to choose ideas!
Yeah, we can definitely make Frodo's birthday an extended thing for Eariel. Two days are better than one! And Frodo definitely deseves two days.

Yes! At least we have a plan now of what we are going to do. And truthfully, Frodo is worth everyday of the year, even if he is fiction.

We rented the Two Towers today, so it was fun watching that--well part of it, actually. So far. (More Frodo! ) Plus the special features, even though it isn't the extended version. (More Elijah! ) Hmm...i hadn't seen that movie in a long time, so it was nice to see again that part of our Frodo's saga. (at first i typed sage--well, i did read somewhere that his name means "sage, wise one." Ain't it true! )

In a way, he is ours, because we love him, y'know? Hard to explain...

I use smilies a lot, too. I've wondered if i overuse them.
