That is awesome about the club! We don't have anything like that at our school and it is hard to start one. All the maintenance...
As for poetry, my English teachers says "that I have a talent which I should persue." I feel specail! I have a Pirate-like song goin.' Here it be:
Now ye wonder where ye go’n And what yer go’na do. Well, I tell ye straight and quick, If ye list’n to.
Ye’re go’n on the sea of a rabid storm Ye’re go’n sail with me through the morn. Ye’re go’n and ye may die, But as long as ye do it righ,’ Ye’re go’n ter be jus' fine!
Now ye wonder where ye go’n And what ye’re go’n do. Well, I tell ye straight and quick, If ye list’n to.
That be it! It's not done yet, but I will get around to it.

I liked that WD! That was really original and creative. It was fun to read. It brought out the pirate in me.

I like the poem, Wandering Darkness! Very piratey! lol
That's awesome about the school club!
I like writing stories better than I do poems. I'm not quite sure why, I do like coming up with characters, figuring out plots, settings, etc. I write poems occasionally, but not very much.

Thank you very much. My problem with stories is that I have wonderful characters and plots but I have an extremely difficult time ending stories. I don't think I have ended any story I have written. Peoms are easy to begin and end. I don't need to go into detail and such. It just is.

PS: I will have post some of my better poems. If you thought my Pirate Sea-Shanty was good, these are pretty awesome; if I do say so myself. Though there is hidden meaning that many people do not understand so the poem doesn't make much sence, it's just there.

Ooh! I just remembered. This year for school, there's going to be a club called Teen Ink. It's for students who like to write to get together, write, talk about writing (kinda like this club, eh? XD), and work toward publication! Exciting! XD
isn't that a large national newsletter/magazine-type thing? I happen to read it every month it comes out

Eeek!! I haven't been to this club in forever!! So sorry!!!
Anyway, does anyone mind if I put in a prompt idea?? An idea for one came to me the other day. It is to write something using as much punery/word play as possible.
Anyway, just an idea...

That is a cool prompt! But I think that might be a little tricky for me. I'm not all that quick-witted of a person so...this might be a challenge.

Sure! I would like to!
Oh! I have Microsoft Office now! Yay! Here is the poem that I wanted to share a long time ago but couldn't. I had to write it for my English class. It ended up being very good. It's a Personification peom. We had to take an emotion and personify it. this is what I came up with.
Quote: Peace and Harmony The soft winds blow, The mystic waters flow, The wanderlust vines ever grow. Softly treading on Mother Earth, Nymphs and Fairies dance its girth Unwavering with Princess Joy and Prince Mirth
And then all stops so suddenly, The abundant parade of monotony, Hooray! Here come Queen Peace and King Harmony!
Of multicolored foliage do the Royals dress, With flowing hair that the waters ever caress, And ageless starry eyes that show no worry, anger or stress.
Nature blooms upon their wake, Enduring truths they do make, That here evil shall never take.
For Peace roams here free, Under the Evergreen tree, Hand in hand with Harmony.
And when the feast comes to pass, Around the table the party does amass, And they begin to sing again at last.
For parities here are common, Joy and Mirth are ever rampant, Queen Peace and King Harmony are always Triumphant. The soft winds blow gently, The mystic waters flow freely, And the unbreakable vines ever grow.
For Peace roams free here, Under skies so starry, Hand in hand with Harmony.
Thar ye be! Enjoy.

PS: I have other poems, so if you want me to share more I will, but I have published many of my poems so I have the legal rights to them. No stealy!!!
