Arwen epitomizes both love and grace. Liv Tyler does a fanastic job, and is a stunningly beautiful woman.

My favorite phrases from the film are...

"I asked her for one hair from her golden head... she gave me three"...Gimli.
"Many that live deserve death, some that die deserve life, can you give it to them? Then be not quick to deal out death in judgement"...Gandalf.

Long live Aragorn!!

Arwen has always been my favorite caracter. ( And Liv Tyler my favourite actress ) She is so beautiful...

My favourite phrase:
Galadriel to Frodo:' May it be a light to you in dark places, when all others lights go out.' (the phial)

Umm...... sorry, but what does that other stuff have to do with Arwen? I agree that she is a very good character and that Liv played her very well, but where does the other stuff come in?
There are a lot of good lines on FOTR, so I can' really choose which one I love best.
And yes, Aragorn is great! I love him too. As I do most of the characters. Frodo is my favorite though. :)

Sadly, Arwen's story isn't told as in depth in the book as it is in the movie. I guess Tolkien expected us to know what would be going on "back home" with her. She is so little mentioned in the book, that it is hard to get a good look at her character. However, if you read the story of Aragorn and Arwen in the appendices of RotK you find out all you need to know about her.
She really is a wonderful character, I just wish sometime's that there'd been more of her in the books. :)

Sorry about the abiguity of the post. I was actually responding to another post in which it asked what the favorite quote was, but for some strange reason, it set it up as a new post. Don't know why, but there it is.
