Some time ago I tried to portrait the towers of Thangorodrim, I drew this over and over again, but I've got no pics of it on my computer...
And I drew the death of Huor, and the two trees Telperion and Laurelin. Same goes for those drawings, no pics!

We had a thread on pictures and drawings of the Valar. I don't know if you're interested in those or you have already seem them.
Anyway, you can find the thread here: http://arwen-undomiel.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=368

I think the pictures must have been taken off of there. I don't see the link anywhere.
I really like seeing other people's perceptions of the different characters. I hope you guys all decide to post your drawings!

Why thank you Haldir! you're so nice!
They were on Council of Elrond the whole time! I love the fanart there. Some of the stuff is just amazing.
I really liked Varda and Yavanna, even though that's not really how I pictured them. I didn't care much for Manwe or Ulmo though. They were very pretty though. Very interesting too!

They are very life like. I agree. Almost as though they could walk off the canvas....
I like how Elbereth (Varda) (Sorry. I'm in the habit of calling her Elbereth.) had a sort of ethereal and mystical, but still powerful feel about her. I think I liked Yavanna best. Yeah, I don't really like the lack of clothing, but I like how earthy and organic she looked. And I loved the Ent very subtle in the background. That was cool.

Yavanna's face was really pretty, though I rather wish she was decently clad... ah well...
Varda was pretty, I always imagined her with black hair for whatever reason... I've done sketch after sketch of her.
Some of the others are really interesting...
EDIT: Yikes, Morgoth is creepy! Fittingly so, of course...

(The URL was hid within the text T.T. - thanks for posting it Haldir.)
The Valar and Maiar could take on any form the wanted so actually all the pictures could be right! I guess it's up to each of os to imagine... though in my mind they do wear a little more clothes!

Ooohhhhhh! *light dawns on me* I see. Really good paintings was linked. Oops.
That's a good point that the Maia and the Vala could take any form the wanted. So really, everybody's ideas are right. We all win! Hooray!
But yes............ I did picture them with more clothes. Maybe not clothes exactly, because I always thought of Elbereth as wearing a long, traling type of gown that was made of starlight. But I guess that's still clothing.
