Hannah saw a nice car pull up in the driveway. She was pretty sure it was the girl wanting to try out Spot.

She jumped out of the car and she looked so nice in her clean pressed Jods and nice riding boots. Hannah walked over and introduced herself. The girls name was Janice Harrisburg. Her dad owned a multi million dollar company. She was rich and they had their own ranch and a couple of horses for the whole family but Janice had recently outgrown her pony. She needed a nice show jumping horse.

Hannah led her over to Spot who was now in his stall. She looked at him for a moment and went inside his stall he kind of stepped back into the corner of his stall. " Its ok boy" hannah said to him. He then let up and let her pet him. They tacked him up and took him out to jump him. She mounted him and Hannah watched her jump around the arena. She was a pretty good jumper but a few times Spot refused for her. He was used to Hannah riding him and she was lighter and had a different style of riding. She trotted and then walked over and talked to her dad. Her dad came over to me and asked me if I could tell him why he wa refusing. I immediately said he wasn't used to her riding. then he got all snobby on me and said his daughters riding was perfect.

Hannah knew immediately they ere not the right family for Spot. If they were going to critisize him the first time she rode him they were not ready for him. Hannah told them to leave.

Hailey noticed what was going on. She walked over to them.
"Is there a problem here, sir?" the father was twice her age, and much taller.
"I can see easily that Spot isn't used to your daughter's riding... yes her riding may be perfect, for the horses she trained on. But every horse is used to different kinds of riding, as in each person has their own way. If you want to be snobby, then please leave!" Hailey put her hand on Hannah's shoulder, the twenty yearold watched the girl ride Spot, then watched the man...

The man left and Hannah thanked Hailey for sticking up for her. " Pheww" she said," thanks back there. If eeryone is oging to be like this i might not sell Spot after all. Hopefully ill find a nice down to earth loving family." She held Spots reins in her han and led him back into his stall. She was emberassed and felt bad for Spot.

Hailey smiled.
"A horse person can tell if a person that isn't a horse person deservse a good horse like Spot..." Hailey said. She let out all her horses in the North Pasture, then started heading for the house. She needed to clean out her attick.

When she was up there, she started by going through one of the maney trunks. It held old papers that had to be really old, they had wax seals and everything. They were between two people, a Elizabeth, and a Jake.
The next chest she brought to the room just bellow to go through. It was full of paintings of horses and people, and beautiful mountains. One picture shocked her. It had a red head, with red hair going down to her mid back, and blue eyes that hypnotized. The girl looked stunning in her purple dress... wasn't purple the color of royalty? Hailey thought. The red head looked like Hailey, and sat on a dapple gray stallion that looked like... Universe. It had the same eyes as Universe...
"Impossible..."

Hannah let him be and check onher other 3 horses. She put Shadow and Goldie out in the pasture. The blue roan was trotting around his little run like he had no clue of his surroundings. He was in lala land. He trotted over to Hannah and walked towards her. She went inside the run and started chasing him around like a little child. He was very cute and they had a playful bond. He was now chasing Hannah and sticking his front legs out like he was trying to catch her. Hannah stopped suddenly and the blue roan walked up to her and nudged her. hannah knew the perfect name, Catch me if You Can and his stable name would be Catch. He seemed to like his name because as Hanah said it a loud he started bouncing and whinnying. Hannah went to stroke his neck. " Good boy" she said

Hailey went through everything else. Than cleaned all the dust out, and opened the three big attick windows. Now that it was cleane, the attic seemed like a good place for a loung, not that the big three story house needed one. Hailey hung all the pictures in the room, cleaned all the old furniture and set it in the corners. The attic was huge, and there was a small chandellir for light. When Hailey was done, she sat by the widown, and looked at the room. She could see a tea party with ladies in gowns in the room. Suddenly it seemed real, Hailey shook her head and the fantasy was gone.

Hailey took the picture that looked like her and Universe and took it to the office building, and hung it on the wall...

Hannah decided to go home after tending to her horses. She was driving home and saw a " Horse Trainer NEEDED!" sign she decided to drive to the place and check it out. It was a ok looking stables and there were about 5 horses.

Hannah found someone to ask about the Ad. They led her to the owner. She explained that she had this extremely tempermental Arabian who needed some training.

The owner led Hannah to the stall. Hannah's eyes popped when she saw the gorgeous black arabian.

She stroked the arabians neck and started asking the owner what she needed training in.

the owner said that the arabian was a little spooky and that she wanted her to be trained in humter/jumper.

Hannah knew she could do it and she could really use the extra money to take care of her two horses.
She accepted the job and it was good paying one to. She took the arabian back to the stables and gave her a cleqan stall and fresh water and food and went back home.

Hailey checked on the colt and Spice. They were fine. Next Hailey tacked Granit in western tack, and went out for a trail ride...

Gabe put back the drafts and tacked up Bud he just put on his bridel though. He sat very light on his back and held on with his hands not his legs.
Gabe pver heard the argument with the man and his daughter.
" Snobs" he said under his breath as he rode past them .
He rode deep into the feild not wanting to stop. He didn't want to go back to the horror that was home.

Hannah drove to the stables that morning and checked on th arabian. She was doing fine and Hannah clipped a lead rope onher halter and led her out to the lunge arena. She started out with a walk and then went into a trot. She trotted her both ways and then cantered her both ways she was fine and only flipped out once because a bird flew out of a tree.


Hannah was done with her for now and groomed her and put her in her stall.

Hannah went to tack up Spot and take him out on a nice trial ride. She just wanted peace and quiet.

On the trail ride, Hailey saw two herds of wild horses. When she saw each one, she stopped her horse, and took out a small note book out of her back pocket. The notebook looked old. Inside she flipped to the fourth page.
"hm... so Cinimon from the TNT heard has had a foal... supposedly TNT's foal. I'll call 'im Thursday!"
She wrote about the new ones in the heard. The notebook recorded the heards on the ranch, from the first horses to be brought there from Hailey's 3rd great-grandfather. When they were far on the trail, miles from the stable, Hailey halted Granit. She heard hoofbeats from up ahead in the thiket. A shiver crawled down Hailey's spine.

Just ahead there was an unnatural mist, and she could barely see the shape of a person riding a horse go by tward the ranch. Suddenly the mist was gone. Granit trotted to were the horse and rider had been moments ago, and there was no sign of anyone being there. Not even a hoofprint.

Hailey shook the feeling off and turned Granit tward the ranch...

Hannah say Hailey up ahead and trotted over to her. She looked kinda perplexed and scared.

hannah asked what was wrong.

Hailey shook her head.
"The wierdest thing happened!" she explained about the mist and the horse and rider she though she saw.
"My grandfather always did tell stories about the ranch. It's been in the family for ten generations. My grandfather's grandmother looked just like me, so my grandfather says. And I think I found proof of that in my attick!"

"Really?!" Hannah said excitedly. " We should go check it out! Bring it to the barn sometime and let me look at it!"
