Very true Scarlett. I've heard so many stories of girls becoming pregnant and such, and then the guy just walks out on her. It's terrible, because then she has to take care of the baby herself, or with her parents help of course.
I know for one though, that if I got pregnant when I wasn't married, my parents would probably disown me or something.

Well that wouldn't really help Larael, and it would be a terrible shame. I don't know what my parents would do, but as I have never spoken to anyone of the male variety for 7 years they probably don't worry! I think too many parents do not educate their children on the facts of life and too many are too quick to judge them if they make any *mistakes* I don't know what my parents think I know but I know more than they think!  _________________

Personally I think that sex before marriage is too risky. Think of the STD's, and pregnancy. Plus, it's risky with your emotions. Intimate relationships are special and should be kept for that one special person.
And I can see your point of view if you want to 'live your life' before you have kids, but hey, who says you can't live WITH kids? ^Well said, RA. Intimacy within marriage holds no restrictions or problems, while out of marriage, everything could go wrong. Never mind the fact that guys see sex as a physical thing mostly, girls (with some exceptions) view it as an emotional bond, and usually get left with a broken heart. Abstinence is the only 100% effective prevention method.

Very true. Lack of information is usually what causes these problems. Parent's sometimes forget that teens are curious about everything. One thing that is completely overlooked when educating on "the facts of life", is prevention. It's part of the package, so why should it be overlooked.

Yeah unfortunately Luthien I see as a pyhsical thing but I never thought the fact that girls could view as an emotional bond. And left the girl with a broken heart. This is not me. But something emotional between me and her would be her problem more than mine because when I feel the feeling of freedom is lost, I just leave her. Sorry about that _________________

I´m pretty sure they wouldn´t... You´re their daughter, after all...
If I were pregnant before the age of 20 it would be me who´d be the most "You cow what were you doing?!"-likey, my mom would be fussing around "I´m gonna be a grannie!" and my dad would be like "OMG I´m so proud of you!!"
