Jack watched Portia sit herself onto the sand. He took a step near to where she was, he didn't sit, but he did rest an elbow on a dock piling, and said drly, "Ye miss the Pearl?"

Portia slowly looked up to Jack and nodded. "Everyday." She said simply and then looked to the Pearl. "She's tha best thing that e'er happened ta me." She said softly and put some sand in her hand and let it slowly fall back down to the ground.

Jack smirked and nodded knowingly, "The best thing that's e'er happened to me as well..." he stopped short though, letting his voice fade out to a whisper. Was it the best thing that's ever happened to him? Well, if it weren't for the Pearl he would've never been Captain. But, each possession in this world always cost a price, and his was yet to be payed.

Portia bit her lip and looked up to Jack. "Do ye e'er remember a time when ye were without tha Pearl? What life was like without her?" She asked and slowly stood up, so she could look to him better.

But he waved a dismissive hand infront of her face and added, "But, doesn't matter savvy? Now, let's 'ead on o'er to my ship!" He grinned and nodded towards the Pearl.

Portia slowly nodded and smiled a little. She loved how Jack was always so positive. She rested her hands on her hips and started walking toward the Pearl. She let a breath of air escape her lips, as she got a better view of it. "She's so beautiful..." She said, softly.

Her eyebrows raised to the heavens, Devina watched this happen, either unfazed or uncaring of Portia's relation ship with Jack.
She had no need to fight like a dog over a bone- Though she was never one to give up so easily, and she did so like a good little competition.
Always had- Always would.
Going for the more subtle approuch, she slunk through the shadows falling onto the dock from the houses around, choosing to perhaps 'accidently' find her way onto the Pearl again.

Jack sashayed himself aboard the Pearl's ramp. "As if ye just noticed..." said the sloppy tone in his voice towards Portia.

Portia rolled her eyes at Jack and smirked. "Oh, shut yer trap, Cap'n Jack." She emphasized on the word Captain and folded her arms. She walked about the ship and looked around it. She sighed deeply and smiled. She had missed her so much.

After Devina had made sure that the footsteps had moved sufficiantly away from thearea of deck was standing near, she made a quick dart onto the ship, and the dove behind a cuople of barrels.
