The truth was, she was actually having second thoughts about letting anyone read what she had written in the first place, especially since she had written it just earlier that morning, after pulling an all-nighter. And she wasn't too sure if it even made sense, actually.

Luth was a little confused, but knew if it was important, Raven would tell her. "Okay, if thats what you want." She checked her watch, "What do you say to getting our seats now? So we can sit where we want instead of right in the front."

Melda shrugged. "I don't mind," she said, shifting her books. "It's annoying when the person behind you keeps trying to look at what you've written, though, so I like the back."

Melda dumped her pile of books on a desk in the second row from the back. "This looks okay," she commented. There were a few empty desks around it. "Sit, before they're taken," she said imperiously, an effect which was ruined by the last two books sliding off and hitting the floor with identical loud thumps. She hastily picked them up.

LDM sat quietly in the back corner of the hectic classroom. She felt a thrill of anticipation running through her veins. Writing was, in a way, her obsession. How many times had her friends been forced to listen as she ranted on about her new story ideas?

She looked up when two girls she didn't know sat in front of her. "Yo," she said by way of greeting, leaning forward with her customary grin. "What's your names? I'm LDM, by the way."

Moving quickly and sitting in one of the desks near Melda's, Raven shrugged off her bookbag and put in on the desk in front of her, then rested her arms on top of it and rested her head on her arms..that was the last time she pulled an all-nighter.

"Meldawen," replied Melda, leaning over the back of her chair. "You can call me Mel or Melda." She grinned and rested her chin on her hand, propping her elbow up. "Don't think we've met - pleased to make your acquaintance," this last was uttered rather dramatically. "Don't think I'm weird, I just like saying that," she added with a wry smile.

Luthien took a desk between Melda and Raven, right in front of a girl she had never met before. She quickly spoke up, so Luth turned around with a friendly smile and answered, "I'm Luthien. Nice to meet you LDM."
