Spiders. *shudders* Holy jackalopes. They freak the living daylights out of me.

I'm not afraid of death. Just the pain that could be involved in that. I fear pain. For instance, being shot, as Mrs. G suggested. Being shot in the stomach is a slow and painful death... ew.

It's HIGHLY unlikely that that would happen. I mean, we see it in movies all the time, but it just doesn't happen to normal people like that! I don't know, I'm just still afraid of major pain.

Spiders and bugs don't bother me that much.
I do have a fear of failing though.
And abandonment.
And speaking in front of a large group of people.

Telpeath has no fears, Telpeath needs no fears. *Knows people know that Telpeath has fears. Telpeath runs away*

Aw *huggles Telpeath*.

Because of my faith, I am not afraid of death, but as Gwen was saying, a nice quick painless one would be ideal ;)

My biggest fear would have to be losing my family. The only real nightmares I can remember from my childhood are the ones where my Mum died. She is so dear to me, and always has been, I don't think I could survive if I lost her.

I hate spiders and bats and rats, but I'm not terribly afraid of them.

I had the same types of dreams, where my mom died. I love her more than anyone! In my dreams, she died in such a gruesome way that I said goodnight to her everynight no matter what for about 2 months.

I can relate! I used to wake up crying after those dreams, it was terrible. Honestly, I don't know how my family would function without her! She is our glue. Every night I would tell her I loved her, and I still do. It's a good habit to get into, I think.

Right you are, in those dreams (which were horribly graphic) she would die of the worst sort of way. *Tears*

Oh dear, let's talk about something happier, okay?

Like...if you could either marry the perfect person or have the perfect career/job, which would you pick?

One time, I had a nightmare that combined two fears: my mother's death and a world without arts. It was extremely strange but I remember being sent to an orphanage after my mother died from a disease. I wanted to find a cure for it but the orphanage I went to forbade me from learning anything beyond the basic education, which was filled with religious dogma. I couldn't draw, write anything I thought of, read anything that was consider blasphemy by the orphanage (which was almost everything), or play or listen music. Everything was the same dull thing. I couldn't even believe in something else like secular humanism. I was flogged for drawing something and punished again after I wrote a short poem. It was horrible. I wanted to kill myself in that dream but couldn't since my brother would still be there. Then I woke up, shaking in fear.

@Caunion: That is the worst kind of dream! I can't imagine how horrible that would have been to wake up from. I suppose it makes you want to ensure a world like that never becomes reality.

@Amoniel:I completely agree! The perfect man is worth more than any job, no doubt. It's an interesting question, though, I think.

I'm glad it did, that's the idea! Seriously, to me, people are far more important than any amount of wealth or fame. Having both would be great, but there really is no choice between them.

The perfect job, of course. Because then you might be able to marry the perfect girl. And if that fails, there are plenty to choose from.
