Ugh!!!! I hate my computer!!! It's been down for a week or more!!! SO sorry I left you guys, but I'm glad you took the initiative and continued on without me...... SO sorry about the delay, and I can help with the story-line now.....)

Cat was knocked out by the fall as the ship rolled, but thankfully she wasn't dead. Something heavy was lying across her, and as she came more awake, she realized it was a body. "Lovely..... I'm trapped beneath a dead person...."

Cat can hear voices, and she realizes that that was what woke her up. She struggles into a sitting position and shoves the person off her, curling her lip in disgust. "Hello?..... Anyone there?....."

Tables are piled around her, and one is leaning precariously towards her. She gets to her feet carefully and inches out from between the tables.

Four figures are standing in the flickering reddish-gold light, surrounded by dead bodies and bloody debris in the middle of a ballroom in a sinking cruise-ship........

<i>"Maybe we should head back to the ballroom." Michael said. "There might be others who want to try to get out, and it would be easiest to leave from there."<i>

Lee nodded and Conrad leaned against her as the tried to get back to the ballroom.

Cat steps over another body and around an upturned bar, shattered glass, everywhere. "Hey!!! You over there!!!....." Her voice echoes through the huge room, sounding almost spectral in the skewed acoustics of the ballroom. "Are you four the only ones alive here?......"

<i>Michael looked into the large room as someone called out. He called back to the woman, "I don't know, I haven't been anywhere except the halls."</i>

Jenae's heart leaped as she heard the voices. <i>More alive!</i> she thought. "I'm alive! Over here, I need help!" she called frantically.

Without saying another word Chris left Conrad, Lee and Michael for what they were. He'd heard a faint cry, probably from beneath the piles of bodies or scattered furniture.
"Hello..? Did someone call for help..?"

Cat is about to answer, but suddenly hears someone call out. Because the cry is closer to her than the others, since she's all the way inside the ballroom, she moves over to investigate. "Hello?.... Say your name, if you can hear me....." Cat can't see the person, but she thought she saw something moving to the right of her, so she heads that way......
