Helen rests agaisnt the balcony, her golden locks flowing freely down her back as piercing eyes scan the horizon. Her thoughts go back to her small town the consequences for her arrival at Troy. She knew it was wrong to board the ship with Paris, she could still feel the twinge of guilt for coming agaisnt her wishes, but her love for the Prince was too great to leave him.
Her ivory dress moved agaisnt her skin due to the breeze, causing her to shiver slightly. She decided it was best to return to the rooms as to not catch a cold. She turned around just as tiny ships could be seen in the horizon, a fleet of thousands heading for the banks of Troy

Briseis put on her virgin's robes, with great pride and happiness for her servitude towards the gods...she was a bit concerned this morning, for anger and war was in the air...oh how she detested war! still, the gods needed offerings so they could fare well in the upcoming battle....she began walking towards the golden temple of apollo, the sun-god...

Paris sat within his chambers thinking. Sitting on a cushioned seat with his elbows placed on his knees, his dark brown eyes fixed themselves straight ahead. He knew that the Greeks would come to claim Helen back.....and he would have to fight to protect his love for her. Although he had never fought or killed a man before....he felt sure that he could now.
As adrenaline and anger surged through his body, he reached over toward some pottery next to him and threw it across the room...shattering it to pieces.
