Aiden took a sword from Shade, nodded his thanks, and followed Little John. He swung the sword a few times to get the feel of it.

Isabel blinked suddenly and awoke, mortified. She hastily loosened her death grip around Robin's waist and tried to pretend she hadn't been asleep.

Aelwen quickened her stride a bit until she was beside the girl called Shade. "I'd also like a weapon if you have any to spare," she said. Weapons were her speciality but she could hold her own if hand combat was necessary.

"I have two daggers left and one bow...but I'd rather keep my bow. Here..." She took out her other ankle dagger and handed it to her. "Use it wisely." She cautioned.

"I've got weapons to spare!" Little John said heartily, pulling out two short swords. He tossed one to Aelwen and whoever else needed one. Then, with a wink and a sly beckoning to those who followed him, he crept into the underbrush. Ambush, he mouthed.

Meanwhile, Lynna has dispatched the gaurds, one through the neck with a thrown knife, and another through the gut with a sword. She turns back and catches up to the party, going through the woods instead of on the path, and coming out behind them. "Waitin' fer me?.... How sweet, but t'weren't necessary....." She grins cheekily at them.....

Shade saw an backup party start to come and saw the slaves drop to there knees. She took out her last dagger and put the blade in her mouth, inbetween her teeth, and walked around through the shadows of the trees. That is how she got her name from Robin...she walked silently and blended into the shadows that Robin was very glad that she was on their side.

Lynna's face goes from cheeky to -_-. "Well fine, be that way....." She leaps up into a tree and makes her way in the same direction, only above them instead of with them. The sound ahead gets louder with every forward movement she makes.....

Little John nodded his approval. He ducked into the foliage with the rest of them, waiting. They didn't have to wait long before a half dozen soldiers on horseback cantered into sight.

"NOW!" John shouted. With a bellow that shook the trees, he exploded from his cover, brandishing his sword.

Aiden jumped out of the brush after Little John, gripping his sword. He let out a yell as he rushed towards the surprised-looking men.

Robin halted his horse, not far off, but out of sight. He still had his bow ready, and turned in the saddle, and halped with shots of his arrow, every one hitting their target...

Shade jumped from the trees and quickly threw her dagger at one gaurd nearest her, nailing him in his chest and swung her sword threateningly as more approached.

The slave boy went to a well just outside the town to get water for his owner's horses. His mind strayed to the forest as he cranked the lever to bring up the water. He wondered what it was like to be free, and not be slapped or beat just because one little thing was wrong. Something startled him, and he looked down to see the bucket had overflowed. Sighing, he picked up the bucket and walked to the city...

Aiden grabbed a soldier's leg and jerked him from the saddle, killing him quickly with his sword. He could feel the desire for revenge rushing through him. It good to use a sword after being a slave for so long.
