Hannah was after Elly and she went throughthe excersize with a few minor mess ups. Shadows strong point was jumping not flat work so he was struggling through the different steps.

The girls went through one by one and then Kayden moved on to a different excersize. Hannah was listening intently to her instructions so she got it perfect.

"Ok. Now, we're going to work on turns and circles." Kayden called to her lessons girls.

Elly picked up a trot and figured out a course.
"Kayden, I'm gonig to take line up,circle to the end oxer, line down, diaganol line to the spread, to the wall, then circle and take the inside oxer." Elly said. She asked Bailey to canter and headed towards the first jump.

Hannah was after Elly yet again and told Kayden she was going to the vertical on the diagonal, then the oxer down the line then a circle then the oxer on a diagonaal circle then the double up the line then a circle then the diagonal vertical going the other way.

Elly patted Bailey as she waited. She remembered what Miss White had said about riding Starlight today during this period.
"Kayden, Miss White said she wanted me to ride Starlight this period, so is it OK if I leave early?" Elly asked.

Karma and Sunny went through the two corses easily. Slipped on the second one and almost fell. Karma recieved a severe 'talking-to' from Sunny. Everything is okay.

Hannah and Shadow went throught it almost perfet there was only one time when Shadow felt like refusing but Hannah straightened him out and he jumped it ok.

She stood and waited for all the other riders to finish their made-up courses.

Hailey and Pirate rode through the lesson easily. Pirate was in a good mood today, which was good. Today he did everything right, and no more mess ups since the slight fall earlier(sp?)...

Kayden looked at Elly. "Yeah, that's fine." Kayden looked down at her clipboard and decided what to do for the next course.

ONce all the girls were done Hannah walked Shadow around until she knew what Kaydens next instructions were.

Kayden figured out what she was going to do next. "Ok girls! For this next course, you're going to ride without your stirrups. You can make up your own course but you have to include all the jumps and keep your stirrups dropped the whole time."

Hannah crossed her stirrups over onto Shadows neck right one first then the left. She took her stirrups out and had a trot around to get the feel.

She made up her own course that consisted of: the vertical down the long side. Then the oxer on the diagonal. Then the bounce jumps on the long side. Then the other oxer on the diagonal. Lastly the fake water jump on the end of the schools diagonal.

"Good job Hannah. I can see that you've been riding without you're stirrups. Did everyone see her legs? They were really quiet and strong. Anyone who is having trouble keeping their legs quiet needs to start riding more without their stirrups." Kayden called. "Ok. Next!"

" Thanks Kayden" Hannah yelled but not loud enought os care the horses. She walked over to a safe spot to stand and watch. She was thinking to herself that all the girls were so good and that they will make a great jumping team.
