My parent's have always been strict about what I watch, and I wouldn't blame them. In primary school I too rarely got to see odd 12's, much less 18's! My parent's would've killed me! They're still pretty protective of that kind of stuff, but now that I'm older it has become somewhat better.

Aye? Oh well. British Comedy is great. @ Mrs Gamgee, you don't know the half of it. At school when it first came out, we all kept saying 'Yeah I know' to teachers, and in IT 'Computer says no'. Was hilarious.

:laughbounce:

Me too. Lol, I love it.
And Catherine Tate, she's very funny too.

:D

Not really. I prefer the older comedy. Monty Python is legendary. We demand... A SHRUBBERY!!!

I haven't seen much Monty Python either but I'd rather watch that than this modern stuff. I really like Fawlty Towers.

Ahh yes, I love Monty Python. But I think that's rather obvious. I've only seen a little bit of Fawlty Towers but what I saw was really funny.

"You started it!"
"No we didn't"
"Yes you did you invaded Poland!" lol.

Ok I have a question about the English school system, are you guys required to take courses like Calculus before you go to University? I'm just curious becausse it's my dream to go to a University in England some day and my dad's telling me because I've gone through the American school system I'm going to look like an idiot because I haven't taken things like calculus or read all of Shakespeare's works in high school.

That is rubbish :P You don't need to know Calculus! Well, most courses aren't going to require that stuff. Just do your research before you apply to join, and you'll know what you need :D

And Fawlty Towers is great too. Oh, for the old british comedy. Nothing can touch it at the moment.

I haven't seen any of them. But I can give another example of a hilarious TV show. Have I Got News for You (HIGNFY to its friends :P) Paul Merton is awesome. :D He has me in stitches :roflmao:

*agrees about all the Monty Python stuff*

Have any of you ever seen Coupling?

It's obviously a British show, and it was on once, and my parents and ym rbother and i watched that one episode that was on, *squee Jack Davenport!* and it was pretty funny.

It was like the British version of "Friends"

[font=Papyrus, sans-serif]Oh, can I change my saying to:

"That's quite enough of that, thank you very much!"

Are you guys talking about British comedy telly shows? Regrettably, I don't have access to them. Kind of pathetic
